IMHO, bike tours are the best way to get to know a new city - you cover a lot more ground than a walking tour but you see a lot more than if you're on a bus. I've been on two of Bici Verde's tours and found them fun, well thought out, and safe. The Parks and Politics tour was a terrific introduction to the history and landmarks in Santiago. Also, they have a Bike and Wine tour, where you bike through a few vineyards and try their wine. I found that tour to be great, although more focused on biking than on wine tasting.Recommended for:

As quoted on TripAdvisor, La Bicicleta Verde is "Recommended by New York Times, Rolling Stone, Travel + Leisure, and Lonely Planet, La Bicicleta Verde (aka Green Bicycle Tours) offers boutique bike & wine tours, 3 different bike tours within Santiago, and walking cultural/culinary tours."
Santiago is an extremely bike friendly city and ideal for visitos who want to hire a bike or do a guided tour.
