Excellent! Excellent! Every thing is so unique and flavorful and deliciously unexpected. The crafted cocktails, the ceviche (5 to choose from!), the chile rellenos is amazing! But you will want to save room for the desserts! Service was perfect, and our waiter so helpful with recommendations and descriptions. Next time we are in Austin, this will be a must dinner destination.

Absolutely delicious fancy Mexican food. Street style corn on the cob is amazing. You must try the guacamole with apples and crab meat! Architecture indoors is so awesome. Intimate lighting. Bar has a full menu. This place requires a reservation for sure. Built over a historic vault that used to belong to a Spencer's from the 1860's. You can ask for a tour, which is pretty freakin' cool! You can also book a party down in the vault where cell phones don't work so people actually have to engage each other. This is one of my favorite places to eat downtown. And it's in a very hip and up and coming location, 2nd street. Favorite dishes: Pescado (fish tacos), and Chile Relleno. The crab tostadas are also a delight!

I love the food at La Condesa- each bite is filled with immense flavor as are all the house special cocktails. I have been almost a dozen times now and I continue to be impressed with the place. The restaurant is extremely beautiful and colorful. I would strongly recommend this place for brunch and for happy hour. You will definitely not be disappointed and very pleased with both the food and service. The owner, Renee Ortiz and the Pastry Chef Lauren have received much deserved regional and national attention. Once you taste the food, you will understand why.
