La Fondue - Saratoga

14550 Big Basin Way, Saratoga, CA 95070

Wine paired with cheese and chocolate is almost as good as wine with steak =] The Flaming Tortoise was my favorite. Ambience was a little too dim for my liking but an overall fun dining experience. Don't lose your dipper in the fondue or else you owe someone at the table a kiss or the next round of drinks haha

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! One of the best culinary experience I had in a long time. We had the chef's tasting menu and the best part in the menu was definitely the souffle. It's pretty expensive but I enjoyed the food so much I think it's worth it...

When coming to Hachi Ju Hachi, one must try omakase for a truly unique Japanese food experience. Chef Suzuki will greet you at your table with a warm welcome smile and outline how everything is prepared as we try one dishes at a time. This dining experience could last for about 2-3 hours depending on how much you could eat. ...

I thought I wrote a review for this already ... I am a fan of this place. I love their appetizer which was the Littleneck Clams but they have taken that off the menu. I swear it was the best clams I ever had. We also order their special of the night which was Dungeness Crab Pasta which was a ...

I am astound how I never see Casa de Cobre when I love to eat around downtown Saratoga. A big thanks to my girlfriend for decision to wanting to eat here. We order: - chip and salsa = starter for us with 3 different type of dips and fried chips. - Chicken Flautas = our appetizer which was not to ...

This is delicious Thai food for decent prices (by Bay Area standards) in the heart of Saratoga's quaint downtown. This restaurant has been under the same ownership and in the same spot for decades and is a real local staple. The tofu pad thai is delicious - but be warned that "medium" spicy is, for delicate American taste buds, actually ...

Didn't see anything particular stand out amount this combination of a frozen yogurt place, pearl tea offerings, gelato and crepes. They've spread themselves thin trying to please everyone without specializing in anything particular. The yogurt was typical. The gelato case didn't look impressive as some were melting while others appeared icy. Pearl tea was pretty good. Crepes sounded temping but ...

The wooden styling and pretty balcony make this coffee shop in Saratoga's historic downtown strip a great choice. They also sell bagels, sandwiches, pizza, ice cream, and pastries. Sip tea while listening to live music most Thursdays and Sundays.

What a perfect location to open an Asian fusion restaurant on Saratoga. I have this thing for Asian fusion food and I have to say this is one of my favorite place. I love this place. Just about everything about it. The patio is great, but I'd like to see more comfortable seating. It's completely enclosed so you'll never get cold or wet. the somelliere is really fun and knows her wines. The wine bar is gorgeous. The Mediterranean food is really delicious. And the live music on the weekends is GREAT. ...

I have to say, this is my favorite lunch restaurant in Saratoga. They have an incredible variety and it's always fresh and delicious. They're a little higher in price than a couple of other places, but just by a couple of dollars and the quality makes up for the difference in price. Recently they added Greek food to the menu ...

It's lovely and all, but ... I don't know ... I wasn't blown away. Maybe because I grew up 2 blocks from the Japanese Tea Garden in SF and went there often (back when it was free). I wanted to sit down and have some green tea and arare served by kimono-clad women.

Authentic to a point that is almost a bit too traditional. Soong Soong is the kind of restaurant I could rely on when I crave for some homey Chinese food. Worth the wait, lives up to the hype. This is like the Disneyland of Asian bakeries. Be prepared to stand in three lines: one outside the bakery, another while you weave your way through the carby displays, then again to pay. Everything is great here, but my favorite things are the brioche loafs and the blueberry cream buns. Try the ...

The pizza here are fantastic - chewy paper thin crust, artfully loaded with a colorful display of tasty toppings. The combination of flavors was wonderful and ingredient is of good quality. Nothing was too salty, too sweet nor too oily. Every piece was good to last bite. This is a must stop for pizza lovers.
