Great for a romantic date! Get the whole meal with a cheese appetizer, assorted meat entree and chocolate dessert or just come later at night to enjoy dessert only. A classic and must-go for any foodie or people who enjoy the finer things in life!

Fondue can be Fun! Fun! Fun!
and OH so delicious.
I came here with my amigos for a wonderful dinner. We had the 2 person dinner menu which served 3 generously. The owner was gracious and conversed with us at our table (very nice man). He sent over pre-dinner shots-on the house. Thank you!!
We tried the Alligator, Wild Turkey, Duck and Filet mignon meats for grilling. We also had Tiger Shrimp and Crab. ALL were FANTASTICAL.
I could NOT get enough of the swiss cheese mix. Goshhhh sooo good. I could dip my hand in the pot and be happy for hours. haha!
Dessert was brought over with Champagne. Wonderful touch. THANK YOU, AGAIN! Service is wonderful and laid back.
There is Dessert Happy hour that starts at 10:30. I am going to make this my pre-party pit stop!! The decor is modern and really fun. Unpretentious yet sexy and stylish. The gold gun lamps were my fave! Music gets cranked up after hours!!
Great first time experience. I shall return with MORE amigos next time!

So delicious! Pretty much every time I've been here, my friends and I have had all three courses and it's quite filling :)
For the meat fondue, you grill the meat and dip it in sauces; much like yakiniku style. But the special part is that they offer an assortment of meats that aren't your usual fare. Antelope, alligator, and wild boar are examples of such.
For the cheese fondue, recommend the Mediterranean and the 4 Cheese blends.

I went here with my wife and it was a great experience. That said we both agreed we would probably not go back for a while. It is a unique dining experience which is great for a date but not the type of restaurant you would go back to on a regular basis. Service was great and place is clean. Nice atmosphere.

Surprised by the decor. Very modern and dark, I liked it! OMG the salad here is amazing, I mean, the best salad I have ever had. And I've had my share of salads. Otherwise, the fondue was nothing extraordinary. I guess I was expecting a lot because La Fondue is so popular. Broth was fine, but again, nothing ground breaking. Same goes for the cheese and chocolate. I would go back for the salad alone and/or the chocolate fondue. I think shabu shabu is better and way more cost effective!

My husband surprised me with dinner here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary.
He had never been here so it was fun to watch him experience everything.
We opted to get the Wild Thing (alligator, antelope, something with a b, elk, venison, and wild boar). We also chose the Stinking Rose as our cheese. We each got a huge salad (choice of chef or spinach salad) and we opted for the Flaming Tortoise for our chocolate fondue.
The Wild Thing was interesting since it was meats we don't normally eat. My favorite was the antelope and venison while the hubby enjoyed everything but the alligator. We cooked our meats in Court Bouillion.
The Flaming Tortoise had a shot of 151 lit on fire on top of our chocolate & walnut fondue. So we had fun toasting marshmallows on top! :D This was easily the hubby's favorite part of the dinner. Our server even gave us a bit of bubbly to celebrate!

I haven't written a review for this place yet??
I could have sworn that I did....
Yes, it's kind of out of the way...
kind of hyped up.....
kind of $$$.
But it's fondue....and you don't eat fondue everyday.
Well....alright..maybe you could....but I'm lazy. I remember that this place used to be so cramped....but now they renovated and expanded the place and what not, but I still kind of miss the old cozy space.....not that it's as intimate as before....just...I dunno. I remember the old decor was opulently appointed drawing you into this space where you could enjoy your food...I mean, really enjoy your food and feed each other. Just something about the new space doesn't lend itself to the old erotic ambiance.
That aside..either which way the food is good...of course it takes a while to get the sauces down just right. You know...to get that sweet spot between what you have in mind and what you really get. If you're not too familiar with the terminology take your time and ask the staff to describe them to you as if you were a 4 year old...I told'em I was a 2 year old so they went really slow and used a lot of treats following Pavlov. Now I get excited when people gesture with a thumbs up.
I'm sure you have read the other reviews....figure out another silly reason to go here other than for the food. Just come with no expectations other than to have a great time...cook your food.....share your food...and order the chocolate fondue ahead of time. And after you get seated...
pull up your seat real close to the table.....
look the other person seated across from you and wink....
like so ;D......
then proceed to bite into your cubed beef slowly...
savoring every chew.....
then swirl that rice crispy treat in the chocolate goodness
and then direct your curled finger toward'em in a come hither motion teasing them to take a bite..........
sorry...where was I???
