**GOOD TACOS BUT NOT NECESSARILY THE BEST**
With high ratings, I was hoping these tacos would steal my heart and taste buds.
Mission Beach in general can be nightmarish to find parking.
You might get lucky.
Very small, but there were a few tables and chairs inside and the outside front and side patios.
AL PASTOR TACOS (2) - $4.35
Awesome marinated meat, but didn't care for the yellow tortilla shell. Wrong texture. Soft white tortillas would have done the trick. With more lime. Had to add the hot sauce for kick.
HORCHATA - $1.75
Perfect balance of sweetness.
BEANS AND RICE - $3.25
Rice was bland and the beans tasted like canned.
It was authentic and family-owned.
I hate to knock the over-hyped-ness of the place, but it didn't do it for me.Recommended for:Budget Travelers

WOW. Delicious. Love the Carne Asada fries and the California burrito (it's got steak and fries inside!).
Also have a good hot sauce.
It was luckily right next to where we were staying in Mission Beach so I got to go twice!
