Seems like they are in the middle of some renovations with both rooms and the lobby area. Most rooms have a full kitchen and separate bedroom which is good for families with children. The carpeting throughout the hotel seem semi-new, and the bathrooms could use a makeover. Be sure to request a room with an ocean view an a terrace. I wouldn't walk around the area surrounding the hotel too much, just head to the boardwalk or beach, do not walk around the streets. Check-out is at noon, try and request a later check-out to get another day on the beach. I would be curious to visit this place again after the construction to see the renovations. I would park at one of the nearby casinos and walk down the boardwalk to and from the car.Recommended for:

The place is a bit dated, but very clean and comfortable. The view and location could not have been better. Free WiFi is available only in the lobby. There's only garage parking, and though it is a bit complicated, it is very secure. Most rooms have a 4 burner stove, dishwasher, medium sized refrigerator and microwave but no oven, so plan meals accordingly. There is a 7-11 and supermarket close by, and there's a wide selection of restaurants within walking distance on the boardwalk, and of all price ranges. There's even a Dunkin Donuts right next door. You do not enter the building without front desk authorization and the room keys are programmable chips, not magnetic strip cards, so the security measures made me feel safe.
