Wow. Great hotel. The pools are fantastic, especially if you have kids. There are water slides, caves and lots of fountains. The rooms are very nice. The brunch on weekends is spectacular, with great food and an amazing dining room in what feels like a tropical garden. The only trick, as with much of Ka'anapali, is that what is advertised ...

    Kaanapali Beach Hotel

    Kaanapali Beach Hotel

    Class:
    22 reviews

This is the lowest priced hotel on the world famous Kaanapali Beach. The staff are wonderful the vibe is freindly and family oriented. The rooms are decent and clean but they are basic compared to nearby options. If you're on a budget and looking to stay on one of Maui's best beaches, then this is your best bet.

Perfect location right at Kaanapali Beach. The resort grounds are beautiful and there are koi ponds and flamingos right when you enter the lobby. Great pool area for those traveling with families. The rooms can be on the small side, but get an ocean view room and you won't mind.

One of the best resorts on Maui's west side. The rooms are huge suites, beautiful, modern, and so comfortable. I love seeing so many Maui grown products being used in this resort as well. Very friendly staff and great service. You can't go wrong here.

Marriott's Maui Ocean Club - Lahaina & Napili Towers

    12 reviews
Excellent! - 87% of guests recommend

When you pick a hotel in Maui, the pool area is a critically important point. The pool at the Marriott's Maui Ocean club is one of the best on the island. Lots of waterslides, caves, rope bridges, swim up bars, etc. There is also a whole childrens area with smaller splash pools, fountains and smaller slides. You can kick back ...

    Maui Kai

    Maui Kai

We stayed in Maui Kai 807 which we booked through the owner, Donna Bender. Just like most of the other reviewers I absolutely loved falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of the ocean. It was amazing how close we were to the water! Such a treat. You couldn't ask for a more convenient and comfortable stay, it was ...

Prime location right on Kaanapali Beach! I stayed in a 10th floor studio with an ocean view, and it was amazing! While the decor inside is pretty dated, it's still very cozy and the grounds are immaculate. The staff is super accommodating!

    Kaanapali Alii

    Kaanapali Alii

    Class:
    6 reviews
Excellent! - 94% of guests recommend

The bell service at the Alii was top notch. Our escort was a cheerful young man who gave us the beta on local surf spots, growing up on the island and how much he enjoyed his job. He won us over immediately. Front desk service seemed a little overworked. The lobby was unimpressive considering the rest of the hotel was ...

    Best Western Pioneer Inn

The Pioneer has class, history, charm and an excellent location smack dab in the middle of downtown Lahaina. A lovely place for a small wedding – it’s got a very private courtyard, a banquette area and simple pool. The hotel maintains a whaling-town theme and spaces are decorated with historical relics dating back to its 1901 construction as an Inn ...

    Aston Kaanapali Shores

    Class:

Very Good! - 81% of guests recommend

Kaanapali Shores had some unique art and common spaces that really piqued my interest. So did the eclectic mix of convention-goers milling around the lobby. They were taking the hotel by storm! We investigated the pool-side and noticed things like green spaces for kids to run around, a decent café, a quick walk to the beach, and what appeared to ...

    Outrigger Aina Nalu

    Outrigger Aina Nalu

    Class:
    5 reviews
Very Good! - 82% of guests recommend

The Aina Nalu is conveniently located a few blocks from down town Lahaina and maintains a very private feeling. There is a strong sense of seclusion despite the proximity to the bustle of Lahaina. There seems to be more pool security than necessary for such a small resort. With no beach access near by, most visitors here are looking for ...

    Aston at Papakea Resort

    Class:

The Papakea Resort was another family friendly spot. The “Aloha” shrubbery was a fun addition to the landscape. I enjoyed some of the gardens and close beach access. Rooms were fine as a place to rest, but not much of a hang-out zone. This is Maui after all and nature is the place to be. Perks were yoga classes with ...
