    Banyan Tree, Lahaina, Maui

    Lahaina, HI
    43 reviews

It is really impressive and a great location at the end of Lahaina, it makes for a nice place to start and end your walking tour of the town. I seldom have trouble finding parking in the area. Another impressive banyan tree is located on Oahu near Turtle Bay Resort yet is much less accessible.

    Lahaina Cannery Mall

1221 Honoapiilani Highway, Lahaina, HI 96761
    24 reviews

I used to go here a lot more, but lately I find myself going to the outdoor, more modern strip mall across the street. The cannery does have a nice hula show for the kids. Decent food court as well.

    Banyan Tree Square Park

649 Wharf Street, Lahaina, HI 96761-1237
    26 reviews

The Banyan Tree in Lahaina Town is a great place to meet people and explore. Be mindful at night as a certain element hangs around, but it is still worth a visit at any time of the day or night.

If you make the drive around the northern tip of the island, you will pass this landmark attraction. I think it is a must to take the short hike to view this naturally formed blow hole.

The show is very enjoyable and I still play a few songs from the soundtrack. We purchased a package which included a tour and meeting the performers after the show. It was a really nice experience to come on stage and learn more about the theatre, performers, music, history, etc.

    Pacific Whale Foundation

612 Front Street, Lahaina, HI, United States
    8 reviews

I did a whale watching tour with Pacific Whale Foundation out of Ma'alea Harbor and it was a great experience. They were incredibly knowledgeable and respectful of the animals but also made sure we had a great viewing experience. It is such an amazing organization I strongly suggest choosing them over other tour operators.

    Papalaua Beach Park

    9 reviews

The only public county-run campground that's right on the beach, Papalaua is just a short drive south of Lahaina, not far from Maalaea Bay. The campsites are very close to the road, however, which means that it can be noisy and also a party venue for local kids.

    Kapalua Golf Club

800 Kapalua Drive, Lahaina, HI 96761
    7 reviews

Site of the Mercedes Championship PGA event, Kapalua's 3 Championship courses are among the best in the world. One of my dearest golf memories is making eagle on the Plantation course's 18th hole at dusk. Spendy, but a bucket list item for a golfer.

    Launiupoko State Park

Take Highway 30 south from Lahaina, Lahaina, HI 96761
    7 reviews

This is one of my favorite longboarding spots on the island. The waves here are rarely huge, but they are long, clean and consistent. Popular for both stand-up paddlers and surfers, and the area is big enough that you are not competing for space. The entry is very rocky, so if you don't have booties be careful. I cut my ...

    Kahekili Park

65 Kai Ala Dr, Lahaina, Hawaii
    5 reviews

The most difficult decision to make at this full-facility beach park is if you'd rather stroll on the boardwalk or get your toes wet on a leisurely beach walk. Decent snorkeling, shaded parking, opportunities to watch whales and spinner dolphins.
