    Kaanapali Beach

    92 reviews

Less crowded than Lahaina, but with way more people that Kapalua further north, the beach at Kaanapali is beautiful. The water is rougher than you might expect, however. Come around sunset to see the free (if a bit hokey) torch-lighting and cliff-diving ceremony at Puu Kekaa (nicknamed Black Rock) at the north end of the beach near the Sheraton.

Unfortunately, we were not able to watch the main performance because it started to rain. But the good was delicious and the service was great. Servers and greeters were really friendly.

    Whalers Village

    55 reviews

Beachside mall with boutiques, restaurants, a whaling museum, hula lessons & other activities. A day of shopping. A day at the beach. They’re separated by the mere flick of a towel. A hand through your hair says you’re ready for lunch. While slippers highlight your dinner attire. With local stores, designer boutiques, fashion, art and restaurants, it’s not a mall. ...

    Banyan Tree

    46 reviews

LOVE the Banyan Tree! Almost every single weekend, you can go to the Banyan Tree and there is something usually going on: Arts/Crafts Fairs, local performers, etc. Just recently my two daughters had the pleasure to dance the hula on Prince Kuhio Day! #mauinokaoi

    Napili Bay Beach

    32 reviews

Here’s a quarter mile of sandy beach just a 5 minute walk from Honokeana Cove. You can take the beach path from Napili Point Condos or The Gazebo, or you can walk down Hui Drive to the officially marked public access way. Napili Bay is consistently rated as one of Hawaii’s most beautiful beaches, and it’s great for boogie boarding ...

    Banyan Tree Square Park

    26 reviews

The Banyan Tree in Lahaina Town is a great place to meet people and explore. Be mindful at night as a certain element hangs around, but it is still worth a visit at any time of the day or night.

    Ulalena at Maui Theatre

    14 reviews

The show is very enjoyable and I still play a few songs from the soundtrack. We purchased a package which included a tour and meeting the performers after the show. It was a really nice experience to come on stage and learn more about the theatre, performers, music, history, etc.

    Sugar Cane Train

    15 reviews

This is a great steam train. It's a little rustic but that just adds to the fun factor. If you are going more than once get the weekly pass.

    Pacific Whale Foundation

    9 reviews

I did a whale watching tour with Pacific Whale Foundation out of Ma'alea Harbor and it was a great experience. They were incredibly knowledgeable and respectful of the animals but also made sure we had a great viewing experience. It is such an amazing organization I strongly suggest choosing them over other tour operators.

    Atlantis Submarines

    7 reviews

An actual Submarine! Not one of those fake subs like as Disneyland. This baby actually fully submerges you into the the deep waters off the coast of Maui. You get to see many fish which reside in the coral reefs. They also have a sunken ship which they purposefully sunk to create a habitat. The sub goes to as deep ...

One of our favorite West Side beaches. Great for the family, complete with a tide pool for the kids. Also the perfect spot for surfing on that long board, or even better SUP!
