Our favorite place to eat on the island
Ed always orders kona coffee roasted mountain meadows rack of lamb light coffee-cabernet demi-glace, herbed mashed potatoes
and I order maui onion and sesame seed crusted seared ahi
fresh local sashimi-grade ahi steak, vanilla bean jasmine rice, apple cider-soy butter vinaigrette
you can make reservations on open table

Expensive but absolutely worth it. We even went back twice! The warm bread with the herb butter is amazing. But the best part was the wagyu beef ravioli with black truffle, porcini, portobello and morel mushroom cream sauce...you will need an extra order of bread to sop up all of the saucy goodness!

This may not be the cheapest place on the island, but well worth it! The Lahaina Grill boasts the best contemporary dining in Maui. The walls are papered with works as vibrant as the food from Maui's premier colorist, Jan Kasprzycki. The innovative menu and delicious ambiance are the ingredients for a night to remember.
