Small and full with monkeys, this national park is so different from all the other places I've seen in this area. As far as I remember there are no cats in the area but many different types of monkeys and the largest number of giraffes and hippos I've seen. Since it's a small place there isn't a boring moment and you have to stay alert the whole ride, but it's definitely worth it!!!

We enjoyed the day trip in Lake Manyara National Park, though after a half day, we were anxious to get to the Serengeti. This park is worth seeing if you're doing the northern safari circuit in Tanzania. However, if time is limited, I think it's much more important to check out Tarangire and Ngorongoro national parks.
Also, the highlight of the park, though not easy to find, were the lions hiding in the trees.
