Lake Nakuru National Park

Flamingo Road, Nakuru, Kenya

One of Kenya's spectacular parks. One of the best places to see Leopards and Rhinos, and the roads are god enough to maneuver without four-wheel drive, so it is very accessible. Also check to see when the flamingos are there as they sporadically flock to the lake en mass.

A must see spot if you venture into Nakuru National Park. A beautiful view of the lake, especially at sunset as the light reflects off the water.

Definitely a destination to hit if you are going to spend the say in Nakuru National Park. A perfect picnic spot. The falls are not that impressive themselves, but it is a pleasant little area and lions are known to hang out there (careful when you are leaving your car).

Unfortunately, I just went to the viewpoint and it was not worth the entry fee. It may be worth it if you take the hike down through the crater, but from the view point it did not look that enticing.
