A medium-sized lake just past Lake Naivasha, which is alkaline and therefore attracts large flocks of flamingos. It is also host to a number of high-end lodges. When the flamingos are there it is a fun place for a boat ride around to see them, the hippos and the storks.

Description

One of the most underrated travel places in Kenya is this serene lake, Lake Oleidon nicknamed "Secret Lake" lies in the shadows of the famous Lake Naivasha -- it is just past the southern shore of Lake Naivasha -- but boasts the same undisturbed wildlife, animal and plant species, and thousands of flamingos in some seasons.
