Tigard is like a suburb mushed between Beaverton and Lake O. It's definitely something you pass through but might not even notice when you do. Also, because it's a main artery for a lot of roads, it's a pain to drive through at certain times.

West Linn is Clackamas and right next to Lake Oswego, I pass through (and stop for breakfast) every time I go to my Son's school. West Linn has a history of early development, prompted by the opportunity to harvest energy from nearby Willamette Falls. It was named after U.S. Senator Lewis F. Linn of Ste. Eco-friendly and hippie. Great public transit system incorporating buses and a streetcar system. Biker friendly with dedicated bike lanes all over the city. Multiple microbreweries across town make Portland a premier destination for brewery hopping and craft beer enthusiasts.

Cute little suburb of Portland. Nothing really remarkable about it. Lot of Asian restaurants to choose from including Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese and lots of Korean!

Dundee is a small little town based in the Willamette Valley. It's marked by the wineries in the area and is a perfect place to go wine tasting. Highly recommended and it's only a short drive from Portland.

Oregon City is a nice little city outside of Portland. Mainly known for the end of the Oregon Trail (which there's a museum here to celebrate that). It's in good proximity to Portland so lots to do, can come here for a 1/2 day.

Aloha is probably one of the more "worn down" suburbs west of Portland. It's not as ideal as Beaverton, or rural as Hillsboro. Just in-between. You'll find yourself going to Portland a lot if you live here.
