Lake Worth is on the verge of becoming something. A foodie Mecca, Antique Alley, Hipster Hangout, etc. But is not quite there. They lack the restaurants, the cohesive shopping layout, enough eclectic and interesting venues. Sooooo Close. If the developers win, this sleepy town will turn into another New York winter pit (they already have lost almost all beach access, to the underused condo sprawl), if they find their true identity it could become the hidden gem of southern Florida. I hope it is the latter.
City planners should require beach access between all condo bldgs., and should enforce the 250$ littering fines on the beach. Come on, have some pride, and respect your citizens, instead of cow-towing to New York money interests.
