We ended up here after a road trip to see Alaska. We headed to Homer having no idea where we would stay. To my amazement this hotel was first of all very affordable the staff were very friendly and pleasant. We only hoped for a decent place to sleep. The hotel it self was so clean and smelled so fresh walking to our room which is always a good sign! The extra mile that went into cleaning our room was very obvious. The bed and linens were clean and comfortable and the view was beyond anything I could've imagined. Wished other hotels could understand how taking that extra step not just raking over a room makes a huge difference. I have stayed in fancier hotels w everyone in uniforms that wasn't this nice to stay in. I could've spent our entire trip there but this was our last day and destination on the way out.

Land's End hotel is, as the name suggests, at the end of the spit reaching out in the Bay. Gourmands be warned, Homer is not the epicenter of the foodie world; the fried halibut sandwich is inescapable.
