This is an exceptional budget hotel option in Hong Kong. Great staff and lovely modern rooms. Impressively good value in a city that can be tough on budgets. Rooms have small kitchenettes but there is no room service. Nice design for the price point.

IR1968 has the best name that tells the story of the restaurant. A local institution serving Indonesian cuisine in HKG since 1968! This restaurant is frequented by both visiting and expat Indonesians. The service is friendly. After years in Causeway Bay, IR 1968 recently moved to a brand new space in the newly developed L Space building. The decor is ...Popular withLuxury

This is the one located in 68 Yee Wo Street, Causeway Bay, in the Regal Hong Kong Hotel. After a maddening trip on the tram, I was relieved to find Din Tai Fung and try their famous XLBs. I've been meaning to try this restaurant for years - I even mapped out a trip to Arcadia in SoCal just to ...Popular withBudgetFoodiesFamilies

Hui Lau Shan has a variety of traditional sweet soups desserts and modern fusion mango/jello desserts, such as black sesame, mango jello sago, steamed tofu with red bean filling! All the desserts were delicious and definitely caters those the Chinese taste buds! Sweet but not too heavy! Btw, this is a dessert chain, so you probably see this all over ...Popular withAdventureLocalFoodies

Wow incredible omakase! The sashimi is super fresh and the sauces and garnishes that the sushi chef prepares with the sashimi is incredible. The toro and the uni were my favorite! This is the first omakase I've had that serve tempura with the set - which was also to die for! I believe the entire omakase was around $1200 hkd.Popular withTrendstersLuxuryFoodies

Japanese-western fusion chain restaurant that serves awesome combination of Japanese and western fares. In addition to the savory items, their desserts and ice cream drinks are equally delicious. Although the staff is most young and "green", they are positive and provide satisfactory services. Review is for their Causeway Bay location which is the Ginza of Hong Kong and the Azausabo ...

I saw this place on a webisode of Hong Kong cheap eats under $50. I was interested in the Groupa fish burger. There's always a queue at Danish Bakery for their burgers but I managed got there late (2:30pm) and the queue was pretty much gone by then. I bought a fish burger for HK$12, which is like US$1.75. Now ...

A little chaotic and rushed but Red Pepper serves up tasty Szechuan. Prices are reasonable. The sizzling chili shrimp is a favorite. Decor is a bit lackluster. May not appeal to the precious. I prefer San Xi Lou -- less chaotic, cleaner, and has better food.Popular withLocalFoodiesBudget

Arguably the oldest Vietnamese restaurant in town, 香河越南餐廳 Perfume River Vietnamese Restaurant continues to dish out the goods. A simple bowl of pho whose noodles are a bit closer to Northern style, with some cha lua (deli pork slices) and it is all good. Want to take it to the next level? Get the fried spring rolls, superb knifework and ...

Japanese styled western restaurant, Sogo Cafe is a wonderful place to take a break and have a cup of freshly brewed flower tea. Located at the basement of multistoried SOGO department, this cafe is literally right at the eye of the storm. 丹麥餅店 Danish Bakery is one of the great institutions in Causeway Bay that many locals have fond memories of (including their parents). As you enter, there is a bakery section with a modest selection of local buns, pastries and the like (which is also where the cashier is) but the key focus for many is a side kitchen on the ...

RaIronMen is said to be inspired by the first pop up ramen restaurant RaSuperMen, and whether the two are related or not is anyone's speculation. RaIronMen is now located in a proper restaurant setting, right across the orphanage (Bo Leung Gok). The restaurant looks like a very nice upscale cafe, and as it is CWB, do not expect reasonable pricing. ...
