You can't go wrong with the biggest convention center in the best meeting place on Earth. No matter where you pick for a #Vegas meeting, your attendees will find so many things to do that you'd think they'll never come to the meeting. But survey's show that people stay in the meetings longer because they don't have to rush off to get in the other things they want to do in a city that is always open.
I prefer hotel based venues because there is facilities on the property for great dining. LVCC is a hassle if you want to take off and come back as little is a quick walk. (I'm spoiled though.. LVCC is the worst in Vegas, and still the best dining is 5 mins away)Recommended for:

I've been to the Las Vegas Convention Center a few times for different trade shows (CES, ASD etc) . Not real sure how it stacks up against other large convention centers (I've been to the Sands Expo Center for the Rock N Roll Marathon Expo and this Center seems a lot larger - I could be totally wrong...) but all in all I think it's a decent place. The meeting rooms upstairs are nice - and always a little less hectic than everything going on downstairs on the showroom floors. Bathrooms are plentiful. Shuttle service to/from hotels is convenient, and clearly marked. It's nearby to the strip. Eating options are shit! Bring a powerbar or wait until you are back near your hotel.

Went to CES at the Vegas Convention Center, the place was packed with people and booths, but still had enough open spaces to walk around, it's an extremely large area, can't imagine a conference other than CES that would need anywhere near this much space..
