    Ok James Bond fans, here it is The Whyte House from Diamonds are Forever! This is the hotel used for the exterior shots. When the film was shot it was owned by Howard Hughes (a personal friend of film producer Cubby Broccoli) and it was called The International. Check it out, just don't go climbing around the penthouse. Also if you follow me (Jay Amernick) on Social Cam I have a James Bond Diamonds Are Forever Video Location Guide! Live it up you are in Las Vegas for cryin’ out loud!

    Definitely not the Bellagio, but if you want to be on the strip and you're on a budget there's nothing wrong with this place. Roulette is roulette no matter what hotel you're in.

    Older and needs updated, but it is still the last place Elvis routinely performed live. Home of the Star Trek experience. There is an interesting bar to wait at if you don't go to the Star Trek Experience, though. You can get a smoking cocktail served by a Klingon for under $15.

    This hotel, commonly referred to by its acronym “LVH,” is a gargantuan property that, at times, feels too spread out. It is clean, well-lit and upscale and seems to be a primary spot for convention goers.

    The room was decorated in red and yellow and had a big TV with attached keyboard, full-size desk and comfy easy chair and ottoman. The air conditioner was louder than most.

    There are several onsite restaurants here, including the ever-popular Benihana. The fitness center is big but dark and entirely without windows. The pool is gigantic, always lifeguarded and has shelters for guests who would rather lounge away from the direct sun. There are tennis courts nearby and plenty of outdoor patio seating. Shows and entertainment onsite can be found in addition to the casino.

    I very much wanted to give this hotel a 4-star rating, but unfortunately found the front desk to be quite sloppy and irresponsible in some of their transactions with guests.

    GOOD:
    * Good deal for three nights - $139
    * Hotels were clean and decent
    * Offers a GREEN offer - you get $10 voucher if you don't have cleaning service

    BAD:
    * The free $10 slot deal really sucks because of their system... we lost the $10 by putting the card in and didn't get to play. We went to complain and they said too bad.
    * No pets allowed
    * Old school TV
    * Channels were not what they said they were
    * The gym sucks... you pay $10-20 to get entry and it really isn't worth it. I got in for free but if I had to pay, I'd demand my money back. It was TINY.
    * You need to pay for Wifi!

    Overall... I'd stay here again BECAUSE of the deal, but I would probably just come here to sleep and go on the strip to workout and play the casinos.

    I'm seeing a lot of 2-star reviews for this place, honestly it wasn't that bad. It wasn't my choice to stay here and it probably won't be ever again, but facing the facts the rooms are decent to nice depending on which part of the tower you get to and it's relatively interestingly themed and has some cheap drinks to keep you here even though it's a little distance from the main strip.

    They have some decent eats and great late night prices, plus cheap tables. It's almost like a compromise between having a mediocre hotel with cheap tables AND good food ... with good being a ... relative term ...

    Anyway, the only thing I have to complain about is that the showers are really weak and it takes longer than usual in a hotel to get hot water PLUS the shower steams sooo easily that its hard to take a shower with the bathroom door closed. Other than that, they have some great deals sometimes so it's not bad if you're driving to Vegas.

    An old Vegas legend though many of the rooms are in need of a refresh.
