Sarah and I can handle Vegas for up to four days. At that point our livers and our pocket books have changed into burnt, crusty, and dried out versions of themselves.
We have our favorite spots but then Vegas molts every few years and practically everything is different. We like that too, as it allows us to try new things, explore and keep us on our toes.
But four days, four days is our limit.

Ho passato 3 giorni molto divertenti in questa città decisamente fuori dal comune.
Consiglio di vederla in settimana per avere un notevole risparmio sugli alberghi. Gente e eventi di sicuro non mancheranno

We used to frequent Las Vegas about 8 times year when I was younger and had different interests, but now I don't go as often. But when I do, it's still a good time, especially considering Vegas is what you make of it. You don't have to indulge in every vice that's offered to you. You can always just enjoy the other finer parts of the city and entertainment culture. Still, very few cities like Vegas in the world.

For a person coming from the old Europe Las Vegas turns to be a very strange and enjoyable place. Magnificent hotels along the strip, casinos, concert, enterteinment. Las Vegas is like a big party, lasting day and night. We spent there two nights. One evening we also attended to Cirque du Soleil show. It was fantastic. We spent the daytime relaxing in the hotel swimming pool and then, quite early we went playing. For once it had been a really funny experience. But maybe I would not go back twice.

This is a fun city if you like adult activities - drinking, gambling, clubbing, going poolside and eating lavishly. I would recommend it if these are things you are looking to get into (you probably are if you are looking for a review, given the reputation of the city).
But if you are not looking for these activities but want to do other destination type things (shopping, eating, culture, daytime activities) and want destination type amenities (great hotels, awesome shows etc...). This city might not be for you.
Very fun though, if you want to enjoy with your friends....not a great couple destination.

Sometimes called the Entertainment Capital of the World, Las Vegas is an oasis of casinos and resorts in the middle of the Nevada Desert. Las Vegas is one of the most populous cities in the United States, with about 1.9 million people. The “Strip” or main drag, is host to opulent casinos like the Bellaggio, where people come from all over the world to gamble, drink, and take in shows of various levels, opportunities which have perhaps helped Vegas to earn another nickname-”Sin CIty.” Las Vegas’ seedier roots (early casinos were mostly managed by the mob) have given way in recent years to redevelopment on the Southern part of the Strip and to more family friendly entertainment, such as Cirque du Soleil and Celine Dion. Personally, I think a two or three day stay is more than enough.

It's tacky. It's touristy. It's bright and it's often abrasive.
But it's Las Vegas.
Most of my friends and I agree that three days of Vegas is about all one can handle. It's fun to the power of 10, where anything longer than an extended weekend might kill you. From extravagant buffets to world-class shows, everything about Vegas is grand. But whether you come with your family or your riotous friends, there is a different, equally fun experience to be had.

The themed hotels are so touristy and weirdly fascinating. We managed to enjoy Las Vegas without doing any gambling or going to shows, but just wandered through the many themed hotels.

Las Vegas was exciting and never a dull moment. We stayed 5 minute walk from the strip at Tuscany Hotel and Suites (perfect place) great rates and away from the hustle n bustle of the strip. You can drive to the Grand Canyon, and Hoover Dam, expect to be gone from early am til late pm. Nice drive however.

For the gambler, Vegas is a spot not to be missed. Everything from penny slots to all kinds of table games. Visit all of the various hotels and look at their decor and attractions. Try out some of the restaurants for their moderately priced food, Take a walk down the strip. Enjoy!!

Las Vegas = Disneyland on acid. It's the most surreal place on earth! Yet after several visits I find the nonstop whirs and rings of the gaming machines oddly compelling. I don't gamble, I don't shop luxe brands, I don't go to shows (well ok I did see Blue Man Group once)...so what do I do in Vegas? I love people-watching, I love exploring the fakey architecture, I enjoy dining and spas. I even had fun in the fake King Tut tomb when Luxor still had that. I can even tolerate the heat of summer. It's an endlessly fascinating town.

There's always something amazing to see in Las Vegas...even if you're not a gambler. I love to take in the shows and the fine dining. My favorite restaurant: The Eiffel Tower Restaurant. It has a view of the Bellagio Fountains that put on a show every 30 minutes...even if you don't eat in the restaurant, be sure to stop by and watch the fountains. They are not to be missed!
