Been to Laughlin Nevada
it's a great place to visit we went jet skiing
went to the beach
nice place to visit some the hotels a pretty nice
in can be very affordable during the week
one side is Nevada any other side is Arizona just across the bridge
on hotel side there's a lot of things going on in the evening
some free entertainment
not as busy as Las Vegas Nevada
but it's more relaxing
just be careful when you're renting a jet ski
some places try to trick you
make sure you get the price you want before you rent it
the place I did rent the jet ski was rate next to Aquarius in the back
near the river on the right-hand side
I was just looking for the address on the pamphlet
hope this will help you it's a fun place to go very enjoyable

Laughlin is one of those "desert weird" places but a cool place to visit. I went on a trip with a huge group of students from my college and it was a blast. Not much to do besides sit poolside and just be in awe of the desert.Recommended for:
Great alternative to Las Vegas... more laid back and relaxing. Plenty of casinos to choose from for your gaming desires, plus throw in the Colorado River with the River Taxi and watersports, and some great places for side trips, like Oatman, AZ, and you have a great destination.

This is like an alternative to Vegas.. I actually like it a little better because its not surrounded by bars and brothels.. its more relaxed.. like.. a conservative Vegas.. if that oxymoron exists..

Laughlin is like the poor man's Vegas. It is out in the middle of nowhere about an hour or so drive south of Vegas itself, on a lonely, hot highway through Searchlight.
It has become a popular alternative to Vegas and Reno, particularly with the older generation. It features a river with about 4 major Casinos on the Nevada side, and across on the Arizona side, lay most of the businesses, homes and trailer parks.
There is a river shuttle that can help you get from Casino to Casino. It gets very hot out here, so walking is possible, too, but be careful with your gramps.
Harrah's has a major casino here, and I have older relatives that like to come here on special comp deals instead of Reno or Vegas. There is even a McDonalds inside the Harrah's, for those quick cheap meals when you're at the end of your roll of quarters.
