Seriously, this is the most beautiful place I visited during my short time in Dublin. Everything has its place and the park is well thought out. The colors in this park are mesmerizing. Sometimes, there is a man who comes and talks to the ducks.

This was the family's favorite museum. The exhibits were well laid out. We learned a lot of history. My wife really enjoyed the old jewelry and gold. The kids love the interactive computer exhibits. I thought the viking and medieval stuff was first rate. It made all of us happy, and best of all it was free.

    The Horseshoe Bar

Saloon style cocktail bar in the shape of a horseshoe. It’s probably one of Dublin’s finest (and smallest) bars, and the prices match the classiness. It’s pretty magical in here and if you’re lucky you’ll meet anyone from celebs to politicians. Do drink the Guinness Mojito, it’s pretty famous in these parts (but careful, they can get pretty lethal!)

Reputedly serves the best Guinness in Dublin. I used to go here as a student as it was a 'real' pub and not a trendy bar. I think it still retains the old world feel.

Irish monks played a vital role in saving the learning from classical times. Preserving and replicating bibles and other literature. The Book of Kells is a spectacular example of some of this work. Amazing artistry in the illustrations, truly a cultural wonder.
