The Burgundy Hotel has everything you could hope for from a luxury hotel, from its location near the champs elysees to its elegant spa and impossibly comfortable rooms.
All of this is given an original spin with a decorating scheme that favors a modern art feel mixed with classic parisian architecture.
The drawback for me is that the whole place felt a little bit cold and impersonal and could have benefited from some more charming touches.

This is one of my favorite hotels in Paris. Location is perfect just off the Rue Saint-Honoré and you can walk anywhere in the central Paris from here. Perfect location to browse the designer stores at Rue Saint-Honoré or hop on to metro on Madeleine or Concorde if you want to explore further.
The small boutique hotel itself is beautiful. When you enter the lobby, you'll see the elegant, discreet decor. Rooms are what you'd expect from any five-star hotel - impeccable and stylish. The hotel's restaurant is a Michelin starred Le Baudelaire, didn't test it, but it looked very lavish, with the option to have your diner at the patio. They have great spa downstairs, with a little pool and sauna for relaxing. The staff is great and very attentive here.

Le Burgundy is an elegantly designed boutique hotel located in an exclusive neighborhood near Madeleine Church and Place Vendome. The first thing I noticed was just how friendly the staff was: from the doormen to the people at the reception desk, I really felt like their sole purpose was to make me happy.
The hotel bar, lobby and rooms are filled with abstract and modern artwork that gives you the impression of being in an art gallery. I loved the décor of the rooms that elegantly mixes geometric prints and rich textures and colors with simple white bedding and crystal lamps. A unique framed work of art hangs above each bed. The spa is gorgeous with an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, hammam and rooms for spa treatments. Their restaurant, le Baudelaire, has earned a Michelin star, so you don’t need to leave the hotel (or even your room!) to enjoy amazing French cuisine!

This is a small luxury hotel that has just been renovated right in the heart of Paris, and yet quiet and tucked away. I recommend it if you are looking for something clean and modern rather than Louis XVI in character, and if you want to be near the shopping street Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
The restaurant, that we did not have a chance to try, is a 1 star Michelin gem. We had one of the suites on the top level with a view towards the Eiffel tower.
