One of the hot new kids on the block for people who like their hotels starkly contemporary. Stunning rooftop pool and restaurant. I prefer to stay at the Hotel Albergo and come here for cocktails.Recommended for:Luxury Travelers

The decor at Le Gray is minimal but in a quietly lavish sense. The building isn't quite finished yet but that doesn't prevent it from being a fantastic place to stay. The service is beyond excellent and the roof-top restaurant, which has views over the Mohammad Al-Amin Mosque and the Beirut Souks, serves great meals throughout the day.
The lounging area by the infinity pool is fairly small and moves into the shade after lunchtime but it overlooks Martyrs' Square and turns into a great bar at night.

Fabulous. Jura expresso machine in the room, fresh fruit, funky staff, hip achingly cool, if somewhat impractical circular bar. Expensive as hell for a not-that rich city. Decent gym, didn't try the breakfast. Highlight was dinner in the resto looking right over the mosque.
