As soon as you see the front of this hotel you know why it is a 5* hotel! And the experience continues when you walk in to the lobby and the check-in desks.
The room was great, clean and stylisch. I definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Paris.
The only 'down' thing is that it is a pretty expensive hotel... But hey, you're in Paris!

The hotel amenities is your typical Westin chain. There is an emphasis on art here with pop-up galleries and modern art pieces around the hotel. The view is decent if you get a high floor. You can see a lot of the city lights, the Eiffel tower, Coeur in the distance. The thing I don't like about this hotel is that it's far from everything. Around the hotel, you don't really have great options for food and shopping. You need to take a cab (don't do it, really expensive in Paris) or the Metro. This is more of a hotel catered to business conventions and events.Recommended for:Business Travelers

Stayed here on points. The hotel is very contemporary and clean, and the rooms large, enough room for our king bed and a rollaway for a friend. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is right across the street from the Air France airport bus stop (Porte Maillot) which was very convenient.

A Meridien Hotel in a good location that provides exactly what you would expect. (It is on the main metro line which makes getting about very easy. You shouldn't be in Paris for the Hotel as it is such a great city but this hotel served it's purpose.

I was really lucky to have found a deal on TravelZoo for a promotional rate here, because nice hotels in Paris are pretty expensive. I paid around 100 Euros for a "Deluxe" room that had a King size bed. The bathroom was incredibly clean. I even had a bubble bath in the tub which I would never do in a hotel if I saw a speck of mildew. The room was a little on the small side but that's very typical of Paris. It was very modern and clean and the bed was really comfortable. The tv was a flat screen so at least that didn't take up more space in this little room. The windows were single-pane unfortunately, so it was a little hard to fall asleep with the sounds of the traffic from outside. I went during Christmas so they were fully occupied and I couldn't switch to another room but you could ask for one that isn't facing the street. The best feature for us was that the Air France shuttle bus from the airport stopped right in front of the hotel. So that might also motivate your choice for a hotel. It would be around 50 euros each way to take a cab to the city, but for a round trip on the shuttle it was around 22 euros each I believe. So that's an extra 50 euros to spend towards a nicer hotel. :) I didn't stay at this hotel very long so we didn't eat here, but it was very close to a metro station and it had a pay-per-use internet and computer station in the lobby that was convenient and affordable. The lobby decor was lovely and the restaurants looked stylish, but I can't comment on the food.
