This busy little cafe is a must eat in Paris. Great steak (which comes with additional serving!) and generous portion of fries. Not to mention the mouthwatering sundae stacks to close off the meal. Love it!

I love this restaurant, but I way prefer the branch in the 6th to the one on the rue Marbeuf. Stay away from the champs and enjoy the atmosphere on the Left bank, by going to the relais l'entrecote in the 6th, just a block away from the cafe de flore.

Come here with an appetite (for steak frites) - and early. When I went, the doors opened at 7:00PM. I walked up at 7:04 and there was a line out the door of people waiting to be seated. The only thing you can technically order is your drink. CASH ONLY if I remember correctly.

Another French staple! Le Relais de l'Entrecote makes ordering a breeze... just tell the waiter how you like your steak cooked. I've been to this place multiple times and they never disappoint!

There's one in NYC, so probably not worth the trip (it's exactly the same), but it is a Parisian institution, and if you're in the mood for steak, it's the place to go.

A French girl recommended this place to me, and the restaurant was always full. Verdict: simple, and good. The premise is a flat price for all you can eat fries and steak. No wonder people stay a long time. It's great to share a meal with friends over, as the only thing you have to tell the waiter is how well cooked you like your meat. Would visit again if I'm not feeling fussy and if I am extremely hungry.

If you like steak then you've got to try Le Relais de l'entrecote at least once! Theres only one thing on the dinner menu: steak, fries and a side salad (for a rather pricey 26 Euros)! The steak though, is delicious, and is covered in their signature pesto, pepper, gravy-like sauce and they give you two generous portions of meat and fries, so you dont go hungry! Although you have only one choice for the main course the dessert menu is long and full of delicious choices. The service is great too!

The Starbucks of steak frites, this chain serves steak and fries until you drop at affordable prices. Whatever location you visit, expect the same standard so you are safeguarded from a hit or miss experience: safe but boring.

Given the incredible gastronomical possibilities available in this city, you won't find me here. Ever.

Best steak frites and meal in general in Paris where dining can be hit and miss if you're on a budget. Great atmosphere and worth lining up (no reservations) for 30 minutes (usual on the weekend)

Salad, Steak , Frites. Nothing else on the menu, so you don't have to worry about not reading French.

If you go to Paris, Le Relais Entrecôte must be on your list. Always a lineup for dinner but worth the wait! And come hungry, as they offer multiple servings of steak frites!

Hard to explain how steaks, fries and a secret sauce can create such a delightful experience, you got to try it!

This place serves what my colleagues and I came to refer to as "steak and green gravy" - basically the menu is steak and fries all you can eat. They just keep coming and coming until you tell them to stop. The drink served is a house red wine (unless you wish to order something else). Most people go there for the deserts which come in every variety imaginable and are as pleasing to the palate as the eye. Add it to your to do list when visiting Paris. There is also a location in Geneva (if your travels take you to that part of Switzerland). Enjoy!!!

This is a landmark in Paris! They have only one choice on the menu and that is typically what people come there for... Steak & Fries! The green sauce that is layered on top of the steak is amazing and an art in itself! There are so much variety of herbs cooked in the steak juice and butter... you wouldn't even be able to begin to guess what is in it, just know it's delicious!

very traditional, their secret recipe is the sauce for the entrecote, best steak with fries in Paris.

Around the corner from Cafe Flore and the Cafe Deux Magots in the St. German des Pres neighborhood, this little, quaint restaurant has reasonably priced, delicious prix-fix typically French menus. My favorite dessert; isle flottant, or floating islands, was divine.

When you go there, never ask for a "menu", because it is fixed. Instead of "what would you like", they will ask you "how would you like" your meal. Select "raw", "medium", or "well" cooked, and enjoy French style entrecôte with salad and potatoes.

There are only 3 things served here. A salad with mustard based dressing for starters, then 2 servings of delicious french filet with green pepper sauce and frites make this a classic spot for diners. Desserts are also good and the wait staff, although attractive, is stereotypically french so don't expect too many smiles if you're a foreigner.
