This isn't so much a restaurant as a wine store that serves food. To make it simple, they serve exactly one dinner–steak frites. They reserve half your meal to keep it warm as you eat the first half. The steak comes in an herb butter sauce and the frites are amazing.
Come early because the line starts about an hour early and there are no reservations.

It's salad, steak and fries, folks. But their sauce is phenomenal; the fries are delectable; and, it's prix fixe, for only 20 euros. Want seconds? Your server comes by every once in awhile with a fresh plate of whatever course you're on and refills your plate.
The best part about this place, though, is the desserts. We were in Paris for a week and we ate here twice. Ha! In fact, I'm there every time I'm in the neighborhood.
Their profiteroles are spot on. Get anything with chocolate if you're not in the mood for ice cream and you'll be blown away.
One thing to note: this restaurant is often mistaken for Le Relais de L'Entrecote, which has the same format, but the food is markedly different (ie: not as yummy).
