One of the places to be seen in Beirut, for the party set who come out after sundown. It's hip but I've had mixed experiences with the food. I'll stick to coming here for a pre-dinner cocktail before dinner somewhere else or a digestif afterwards.

    Hanna Mitri

Seek out this tiny little ice-cream shop in Achrafiyeh, and order the apricot if it's on offer. OK, and also the pistachio. And the strawberry. And whatever else they have. Every flavor is intense and rich, and the guy only makes things when the fruits are in proper season (except the apricot--that's from dried fruits, which makes it more intense). ...
