Cafeteria style restaurant with some delicious healthier foods! Tip: get half portions of Marketplace items to try different things. Truffle Mac is awesome and so are the lemonades!

**gourmet cafeteria-style food with different flavored lemonade options**
I had no idea that the layout of Lemonade pushed customers to go down a cafeteria line and point out side options, similar to a more modernized Panda Express or a Subway. And this is probably the most I've ever spent for cafeteria-style food, but it was well worth it.
With fellow veggie lovers (my mom & sister), we happily chose options like kale & mushrooms, watermelon radish, red quinoa & brussels sprouts, Beets& pickled onion, Shaved fennel w/ mushroom & pecorino cheese, just to name a few. -all of them to be well-dressed with different dressings and delicious.
Of course, these items and the amount we received was enough for a healthy meal alone, but the girls in my family are curious (and hungry) cats and went ahead to get some additional things:
- Ahi tuna -- (nothing outstanding, but great for a pre-cut, pre-prepared fare)
- Herb grilled chicken sandwich -- (with mozzarella, basil pesto, arugula, on ciabatta - YUM)
- Beef stroganoff -- meh, skip this ish
- Broccoli Soup - it was thick, creamy and inhaled.
For the lemonades, we tried the raved Blueberry Mint lemonade and the Watermelon Rosemary lemonade.
I honestly am not a fan of tangy, syrupy-anything, so this tasted better as the ice melted :-X
-- there are also sugar-free options
I will be back to explore the dessert options like the huge FRENCH MACARONS
4.5 but rounded up since this is "as good as it gets" for pre-made cafeteria-style fare

Artie hooked it up with some salad samples. I ended up loving the Watermelon Tuna Salad (4 stars) and the Kale Mushroom Salad (4 stars- love me some kale!!!!). For my protein I went with the Salmon Salad on an Avocado (literally on a piece of avocado that you can eat up (3.5 stars).
Lemonade is like Souplantation, such that you get to eat yummy salads (that are made for you), BUT the prices are pretty hefty! And I know I could make that kale salad at home. I guess you come here for the experience if anything.
I didn't taste their lemonades. I know. Shame on me for going to Lemonade and not drinking lemonade. But I will next time!
OH, and Artie! Hi Artie!! Thanks for the suggestions and salad samples. I know it made the line longer, but at least I shared the story with you about how old people mispronounce my name and call me mARTIE.

I love that i can get a great lemonade in the vicinity whenever i have a hankerin' for one! They have at least three or four different flavors and they'll let you sample them, too to make sure you get exactly what you want.
Same goes for the food. Samples all around! just don't be that person who asks for a dozen samples then leaves.
They have cheap and healthy meal options. A great variety of different salads (some yummier than others) and some not so healthy options if you're feeling bad, too (ie. mac n cheese).
The desserts aren't that great but give the rest of the place a shot.

The process is pretty easy. You go to the front and you pick out the stuff you want. You can do 1 portion (where you pick one thing) for $4.95 - you can even do 2 half portions. They are pretty big. For 2, it's more and 3 more. I forgot the prices because I just got 2 half portions for $4.95 and a Mac N Cheese portion for $4.95 and a Blueberry Mint Lemonade.
The food selection is plentiful. I thought my friend and I were sharing 4 half portions but no... she said we weren't and I got different stuff than her (she had better stuff) because I thought we were sharing. I asked the staff (Jonathan) if I could change my options (I didn't touch it) and he was really nice about it and let me choose again! :D
* The Watermelon Radish, ahi tuna, snap peas and black sesame, ginger was delicious! I really liked it because of the ahi tuna. It's worth it.
* Pork BBQ and peas: It was alright. I prefer the watermelon radish.
*Blueberry Mint Lemonade - it was good at first then became SUPER SWEET. You need to water it down yourself.
The great thing about this place is that you can sample everything! :D
Red Velvet Cupcake - IT WAS GOOD. $1.20!!!
Really great service
Jonathan, Dion, Lane and Wendy helped me out.
They were really helpful and understanding about my change of heart!
Cute place. Very trendy looking and healthy looking.
PARKING: Street or Macy's
I'd come back if I feel like eating healthy.

Alrighty... if you name your place Lemonade, wouldn't your signature be great lemonade? Well I was here last weekend with a group of friends after just hiking Echo Mountain via the Sam Merrill Trail. Well we were all hungry and thirsty. So we ordered the grub and we all got different lemonades. Well no one thought there lemonade was perfect; it was too sweet, too sour, too much ice, too watery, too much non lemon flavor. WHOA Nellie... seriously your store is named lemonade and you cant get the lemonade to taste right? o_O
So the grub... lets walk down the cafeteria line and point and pray... well at least they will let you sample most of the food. Some of it is better than others.
I ended up having the BBQ brisket and it was ok. I tried the special brisket and it was an interesting flavor, but not sure how to describe it. I also tried a few other items and they were just so so.
Several of my friends were disappointed that at 2:00pm they had run out of salmon! Seriously? *SMH* and this is a Saturday??? *SMH^2*
The busgirl wasn't very efficient, perhaps they were just understaffed on the floor. However there must have been 15 people in the kitchen and behind the counter... perhaps they could have allowed one of them to go help clean off tables and clean them between patrons.
The one other thing... that totally jumped out at me... THIS PLACE IS PRICY AS ALL HE dbl hockey sticks! It cost me more than 10 bux for a half portion of bbq brisket with a scoop of rice and a lemonade... ARGH!!!
However What really got me going... was that I ordered the regular lemonade and it tasted like they didn't put hardly any sugar in it... wow... I love tart, sour, lemony taste... but this was a bit daunting to say the least...
I am sure many of you like this place, as for me, I wont be back to this joint...
