The food is more innovative and unique. Suppenkuche implements the basics of German food in a great way. Leopold's is kind of like the California cuisine of German food.

Pretty fun German restaurant, good food. My favorite part is the dasboot! I went for brunch and they have very authentic German drinks and food. I get the sausages every time

The atmosphere is awesome and they have a ton of great German beers available. We ordered the flatbread as an appetizer and it's put of this world...

Essen trinken treffen. Leopold's has been a smashing success since week one. Once the location of a dear Italian restaurant with an unusual menu, you now enter Leopold's greeted by the exuberant Klaus who is always jolly, prompt, and never dismissive of the crowd breaking down the door.

My dinner companion & I liked the flatbread, kasespatzle, & braised lamb shank. The food is hearty, somewhat salty, and created with intention, such as with the Gruyere cheese mashed potatoes. (It will not be the mashed potatoes you expect.) While I do wish Leopold's had the fruity Belgian beers, true beer lovers will rejoice. I love the Riesling; it would not be a German/Austrian restaurant without one. We were fortunate to be there late at night after the crowd had left when an Argentine wrestling club entered and created a ruckus drinking from the glass boots, stomping on the table (to Klaus' grinning amusement), and singing national songs.

What I love most about this place is its interiors with modern renditions of stag heads on the walls.
