Les Deux Magots

I suppose it's a must for tourists & literary buffs. Coffee & food are good, not great. Service is typical. If you're wandering the Left Bank, it's worth a stop, but I wouldn't go out of my way. There are many bistros and cafes that are much more fun.

This is one of the most enjoyable neighborhoods of Paris. We ate dinner outside at Les Deux Magots, overlooking one of the oldest churches in the city. Unforgettable!

This place has amazing macarons, cakes and pastries. The line might be long sometimes, but it's well worth it. There's also a nice place to sit next to the store and eat up Pierre Herme goodies.

Really high end old school Tea and Chocolate shop. I'm told that this shop was founded by the court chemist and it's been here since 1800. The chocolates are fantastic and the teas are incredibly fragrant.

Going into a Manoush boutique is a little like entering a girly socialite’s walk-in closet. Under a crystal chandelier you can look through racks of playful clothing that are full of colorful patterns and prints and that are whimsical, bohemian and classy all at once. The dresses usually have full skirts and are predominantly pink and floral. Sequins, bows and ...

An awesome bar at night, with home-brewed beer if you like it. Also special because located in the "Saint Germain des Près" district, very animated! A lovely place but come early if you want to be seated.

Pixi et cie is a really charming little toy store near Saint-German-Des-Pres in the midst of all these art galleries. In a sense it's a little bit like a gallery, their stuff is so cute and awesome that I feel it's bordering on a museum. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Paris is known for great food and an appreciation for fine culture such as art and music. Why not combine the two and enjoy food with some jazz on the side at Chez Papa? I had my 21st birthday here and remember it being quite the scene. Certainly the wait for food was not too distracting due to the fun ...

Bar 3 isn't much to look at: a long bar can be found upon entering the small space, and at first it doesn't seem any different than a Parisian brasserie. But take the stairs down and you'll find yourself in a cavernous club, where stones line the walls and ceilings and 20 somethings jump around to whatever the DJ is ...

31 rue Saint-Guillaume. One of my favorite buildings, by architect Pierre Chareau. A modern, industrialism inspired building, but one I think is simply beautiful. Back in the day I lucked out and got in during a private tour.

Such a fun place! We frequented this bar when we were in Paris. Yes, it is a little odd to drink your cocktails out of baby bottles, but it lasts a little longer and it's so much fun! Tucked in a smaller neighborhood in Paris, this LV store is a little more low-key and away from the bustle of the flagship store. The service here is just as good, but much less busy. I love this neighborhood as well!
