The museum that holds Napolean's Tomb has great exhibits for both World Wars. The Tomb closes early in the winter since it's almost all natural light.

One of the great Paris restaurants, run by the famous chef Alain Passard, Arpege is the sort of place one visits but a few times in one's life. Known for haute vegetarian cuisine, Arpege is a restaurant I really liked, but it did not have the knock-your-socks-off awesomeness of l'astrance or Guy Savoy.. That said, more virtuous diners might disagree ...

A walking distance from Rodin's museum, there is a small Vietnamese restaurant. The owner is very nice and the food is fresh! If you feel like a Pho, it is a great place to stop for lunch or dinner. Don't forget to check business hours.

Ladurée is a must-visit in Paris. In my opinion, they serve the best macaroons on the planet (sorry Pierre Herme). A wide variety of flavors. My personal favorites are salted caramel and vanilla.

Yes, it's expensive and you'll have to queue. But the hot chocolate (Chocolat L'Africain) is everything you've read about: so thick and yummy they even bring you a glass of water in case you choke or get a sweetness overdose. Trust me: order one and share, as it is impossible to finish it alone. And if you want to save ...

Je ne peux plus passer par Paris sans passer par le Café de Flore. Leur chocolat viennois, c'est juste le meilleur chocolat que j'ai bu dans ma vie. Donc oui, arrêt obligatoire.

This busy little cafe is a must eat in Paris. Great steak (which comes with additional serving!) and generous portion of fries. Not to mention the mouthwatering sundae stacks to close off the meal. Love it!

Bien très cher, mais l'endroit délivre encore quelque chose de ce qu'il a été dans le style point de rattachement de l'élite intellectuelle.

Does one really review the Eiffel Tower?? All I can say is that my first look at the Tower was when it was shimmering at night (every hour or so), and it was breathtaking. So much more powerful at night.

Set atop the Eiffel Tour, this ultra-exclusive restaurant blends the best of gourmet French cuisine with spectacular views of the city. Expensive but worth it, especially for a once-in-a-lifetime occasion like a honeymoon. Reservations must be booked about 6 months in advance but it promises an amazing meal and the most romantic view of all of Paris.

This is my favourite cafe in Paris because it is old, simple, full of cool & arty people around & it is always lively. This is a perfect place to have a glass of champagne & watch the charming people of Paris running around.

As excellent as everyone says, this pastry shop has achieved a cult following and the one major deterrent at this point is the always endless line, stretching as far as a block from the shop entrance, at times. If you are die-hard about macaroons, stick out the wait, but if you are not truly dedicated to your Pierre Herme mission, ...

The food here is very reliably good, contemporary rather than classic but not particularly innovative. However, the setting is great as it overlooks the sculpture court at the Louvre.

You should spend one night there for a very classic French brasserie experience. Good traditional food, posh waiters getting on your nerves, but still you enjoy it, because the food is good & it is an original experience.

They don't name themselves the "House of Chocolate" for no reason. Mmm, I had a chance to sample some of these decadent heavenly bites, soo pure and chocolatey tasting. I must be making up words to describe something so sinfully good. They have a couple of stores in Paris, at the airport, Japan, and in New York. Please expand!

As an oyster lover, this is by far my favourite place in Paris... It is a cozy place, just have 6-7 tables... with very chic decoration... and the menu is based on oysters & crayfish only, very selective wine menu... and cognac to finish... Regis is always there with a smiling face... taking good care of you... I just love ...
