You would be hard pressed to find a friendlier bar in Monti. Independently owned and run by Calabrian Margherita, who never takes off her tango heels, locals and newcomers alike come here and stay longer than they planned. Their wine list is excellent as well; try the Nero di Troia.

Bed and breakfast in a great position, 500 meters from Cavour metro station, and nearby there's via Nazionale, with every kind of shop, the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums, and Termini station. Breakfast is ok, not very abundant but genuine and authentic. Unfortunately there's no kitchen, so you can't have lunch or dinner there, but nearby there are lots of restaurant. ...

Awesome hotel in an awesome location. The staff were friendly and cheerful, and they were also helpful and kind. The hotel is located on Via Urbana that runs parallel to the busier via Cavour. Via dei Serpenti is definitely one of my favourite streets in the centre of Rome and what’s better than to look outside the window and see the Colosseum in the distance at the end of the road? The colours, the buildings in front and the hustle and bustle makes you experience the real essence of the city and it’s so ...

I loved this hotel! First, it is away from the throngs of tourists that you find near Termini or near the Vatican. This hotel is in a nice spot in the city. You are going to see tourists, but the streets and vicoli in the area making for fun exploring. There is a great piadina sandwich shop right across from ...

Central location, 5 min. walk from Termini Station and the Colosseum, 20 min. from Piazza Barberini, but if you don't feel like walking metro stop is just 200 metres away from the hotel. Virgilio, Bartolo, Alessandro and Igor: I will keep you in my heart.

I knew I’d be impressed as soon as I walked up to the 19th Century building that houses this charming inn. Conveniently located near the Colosseum, main train station, lively neighborhoods and the metro, this place really has character with its wooden ceilings and classic decor. It’s small enough (only 10 rooms) to make you feel at home but also ...

This hotel is centrally located and you can walk to everything. It is pretty small but clean, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is consistently good. Our room and bath were very small but we were on the top floor which means we had a really nice balcony with table, chairs and an awning so we could bask in ...

Beautiful design hotel with a charming swimming pool on the roof top? It is quite close to the railway station, not in the most beautiful part of Rome. However the hotel itself is ok.

I stopped into the Boscolo Exedra wanting to speak to them about bringing a group of people to stay, and they barely gave me the time of day. I had a quick look around, and yes, it's a beautiful hotel with soaring ceilings and a great location. In my book, however, it's the service that counts, and I unfortunately thought ...

I knew going in that this is one of those big corporate hotels with a big fancy corporate lobby and as much as that isn't my thing, the room itself was really beautiful. Just gorgeous. With gilded pillars, the room was tasteful and luxurious; fancy but still comfortable and relaxing. I loved the piano bar downstairs called "Orum". Set up ...

Shadowed by its famous next door neighbour, this hotel offers the same fabulous location above the Spanish steps on Via Sistina. What's not to love about this...well...grande hotel! It is amazing. Luxurious, spacious rooms, a bathroom that is a palace in and of itself... The location is not bad, either. The Inn at the Roman Forum is hands down the best hotel I have ever visited. There is great energy in the adorable little streets even as you approach the hotel. The best part of this hotel were the staff! They were really friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable.
