Can you say bottomless mimosas? That's probably the only thing I remember the last time I was here during their weekend brunch. Lime has become pretty popular for their weekend brunches because it's basically like a club during the daytime. You can grab a bite, have drinks, and dance to the dj's bumping music. The places gets pretty loud and crowded. Lots of people like to come here in groups, so be ready to wait if you don't have reservations in advanced. Also, this restaurant is located in the Castro, so be ready to meet some fun and interesting characters. It's always a fun time at Lime.

Spontaneity can either make or break a situation. In this case, it was a definite make. After cruising the Castro for a few minutes, we decided to check in here. It was the only place that wasn't bumping dance/house music (Hallelujah!). It was love at first site for me when I saw the modern decor and white leather couches. We grabbed ourselves a spot and took in the ambiance before proceeding to hit up the bar. Danny makes some strong a** drinks! Malibu and pineapple juice has never been unfufu to me until I came here. The concoction began to hit us, so we burned off the buzz on the dance floor. I also happened to run into a homeboy of mine that I haven't seen in a while. Nice! The night life here is pretty good, but now their brunch is calling me out. Two words: bottomless mimosas. I even heard something about a vanilla mojito. Hmm? Best believe Imma make a return visit in the near future!

The epitome of Castro yet probably not but it is to me. Eclectic, flashy, loud, fun, friendly and energetic. Though as much as I love this place, I always have problems finding parking. And though at time it seems to be a hit or miss with this place for some people......I love this place even after it took me forever to find parking much less find the place in the cold, mind you. Otherwise I have yet to have a bad experience.....I do get some weird if not funny experiences.
I brought my cousin there one time and the waiter was so cute and funny. I guess he thought that my cousin was my date or something....we played along, we didn't want to kill the mood and embarrass the staff. And he would make the funniest comments about how I didn't treat my cousin well enough since she was so hot or something. "You should stand up when she comes and leaves the table or she'll leave you honey!" LMAO and then he would proceed to rub my shoulders...kekeke
Oh yeah, the food was great and the drinks are better. Imagine if you will, tapas.. but american tapas. I love the ambiance of the place along with the great music.. I'm an energy addict...I like house. I always always always get the mini cheese burgers and the.....damn, what is it called the melted cheese in the sandwich deal that comes with a little tomato soup so you can dip them in...you know what I'm talking about and if you don't just explain it to them, I'm sure they still have it.
Overall - it was just a great place to eat.

Our group agreed that it was pretty certain that:
1. Someone lost their virginity during brunch
2. Someone left pregnant during brunch
3. Someone may have done both during brunch.
Lime has got to be the wildest brunch spot anywhere period. Upon walking in, we grabbed our $7 bottomless mimosas and witnessed the following:
-A girl puking in her own scarf that was still tied around her neck
-A guy passed out on the counter
-A girl taking off her top
-A bachelorette's mom dancing with gay boys
And a few other R-rated things that I should probably refrain from saying. There were so many tanned guidos and Snooki lookalikes there, I wasn't sure if Jersey Shore had decided to change its filming location to SF. Seriously, if you feel like you haven't partied enough the night before, then Lime is where you go to keep that party going. Plus, it's ok if it's 3pm and you just woke up, brunch here goes until 8pm. That's right, party people. 8PM! We happened to leave at 5:30pm, after consuming several pitchers of mimosas and delicious chocolate chip pancakes. Yeah, the food is actually pretty decent, and cheap!
If you can handle a 2-hour wait to get a table, dance music blaring at 10am and hanging with the most irresponsible and crazy bunch of brunchers, then Lime is for you.
