Lots of deliciousness coming out of this joint!
I don't think you can go wrong with any choice you make on the menu.
My favorites would have to be the empanadas and truffle mac and cheese so far.
Drinks, hands down, the Maracuya Sour!
The staff was also very attentive and yay to reservations!

Peruvian food- You have to order the chicken, Best chicken i've ever had... comes with a few sauces on the side that makes it even better (if thats possible) Very reasonable prices and food that will live in your dreams. Couldn't recommend it enough- actually just booked a reservation for this friday for date night!

As we entered Limón Rotisserie last night, Gayle muttered under her breath that "Eric B. of Gogobot" had entered the room. I rolled my eyes and hoped that no one was within earshot. It's all part of a running joke about friends who have gone online and found my name or Gayle's listed or mentioned. For this night out, Gayle's Nephew had gone into Yelp and based on the ratings suggested Limón as a place for Dinner. And ever since an amazing dinner at Andina in Portland a few years ago, Gayle and I have never turned down a Peruvian meal opportunity.
I immediately liked the Limón space for it's smallish neighbourhood feel and fun energy. I also appreciated that the service was friendly, helpful, and fast and that "Dinner Karma" had put the 4 of us at the corner window.
The food was wonderful, although I really do need to eat here a few more times to fully explore the menu and calibrate the portions. For example, my empanadas were outstanding, but seemed a little small. On the other hand, Gayle's Nephew ordered a half chicken with 2 sides and that was plenty of food. Gayle and my Son also enjoyed their orders, and with a little dessert at the end, we all had fun sharing. I also appreciated the selection of wines from Portugal, Spain, and Latin America. My Alentejo Red (near Évora) went very well with the selections on the Table.
Eric B. needs to come down to the Mission more often.....

Limon's rotisserie chicken is to die for. $10.95 for a half chicken (as of May 17, 2012) that comes with two side dishes is enough to make a man happy. Other Peruvian items, such as ceviche and lomito saltado are very delicious, too. Friendly bar tender and great food. What else can a man ask for?

I very much enjoyed my meal at Limon Rotisserie! The ambiance is comfortable and the food is delicious. The food is very reasonably priced and really fresh. You can enjoy the view and smell of freshly roasting rotisserie chicken on the fire while you eat - which adds to the warm ambiance! The service is very friendly as well. Some dishes were just a touch salty - which I actually enjoyed - but that may be something to note if you're not a big fan of salt.

Delicious!!! Ordered a number of different plates to share and all were gobbled up quickly! The roast chicken is very tasty and the bar drinks were sweet and refreshing too. The Filipina waitress was very friendly and bubbly too! If dining in the early evening must make a reservation as it can get quite busy.
