Lincoln Park is Chicago's largest park, and probably one of the largest parks in the world. The Park consists of miles of beaches, harbors, a world class zoo, and playing fields for baseball, soccer, volleyball, and other sports endeavors.

Gorgeous park with great views of the city, lake, and a lovely zoo. The park also features frequent special events. A nice place for a run or stroll that connects Lincoln Park to the Gold Coast / Michigan Avenue.

Frederick Law Olmstead, the man behind Central Park in New York, designed this green space in Chicago. Within it, you’ll find the Lincoln Park Zoo, the Chicago History Museum, the Lincoln Park conservatory, and opportunities for activities ranging from rowing to running. A great place to enjoy a warm summer day.

What a beautiful park in Chicago along the lake! Lots of great bike/running trails, fields and on the north end, there's also a free zoo! I loved staying in the neighborhood and going on a morning bike ride starting from here to Navy Pier and back.

One of my favorite neighborhoods in Chicago!! It reminds a lot of Larchmont neighborhood in Los Angeles where it is chic and cute but quiet enough that not everyone is invading it.

Great scenery right near Lake Michigan. Perfect for walking, running, and biking. We took bikes from our hotel and rode through the park and along the waterfront.

The park is not bad but what is in the park is awesome! I feel like Lincoln Park is the perfect answer to NYC's Central Park in the city of Chicago because it's very vibrant in the summer, and there are lots of things to do in the park. Most of all, it's all free!

The park is well maintained by the city and there are many areas outside of the Conservatory and the Zoo where biking, picnicing, jogging and just a nice stroll is possible. The lily ponds are a fantastic attraction and it's nice to throw down some picnic blankets and sit near the pond on a nice summer day.

The park is also close to many eateries and coffee joints so refreshments are aplenty.

    Everytime i

I've been there many times, and have had a blast each time. A word of advise to anyone new to Chicago, you need to make sure to put a visit to both zoos on your agenda.

Lincoln Park is great for a few reasons. But for me personally, I like it because it's in a beautiful neighborhood and it's FREE. Ok, so parking isn't always free. But the zoo within the park is, and the gardens, bike paths, playgrounds, etc, are. A farmer's market is held every Saturday, 8-12. Stroll along the pond and see the ducks, or have a picnic on the lush grass. The Lincoln Park Conservetory is also located here (free!) and Peggy Notebart Nature Museum (small admission fee) with its cool butterfly garden. The Chicago History Museum is at the southern end of Lincoln Park, at North Ave. and Clark St. Lovely little shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance, and many festivals are held in the park during the summer.
