Located within easy reach of downtown Portland, the Northeast Convention Center, and the Rose Quarter, this B&B oozes a character and charm that its ownership has tended well. Oba

1.71 mi from Lion and the Rose Victorian B&B Inn
    3 reviews

We came here after we made the wrong reservations at Andina, the notable Peruvian place. Oba serves upscale Mexican food. Their guacamole is really outstanding and so are their mojitos. I think I ordered a passion fruit mojito, a bit sweet, but tasty! We shared a few plates like the fried rice dish, don't recall the exact name, but it ...

Just like Five Guys from back east but with a slightly different twist and feel. The burger was so yummy and I can't wait to try the veggie burger option! Also, they have truffle fries! Such a nice touch!

    Laurelwood Public House & Brewery

1.95 mi from Lion and the Rose Victorian B&B Inn
    2 reviews

Walking in the door and smelling that satisfying beer brewing sent. As someone who used to work in a brew pub the smell brings back good memories. The pub was small but mighty with a smaller bar but a big selection of locally brewed Laurelwood beers. Portland is known for it's fantastic selection of local brew pubs.

A unique space even for Portland. They have a very large downtown location where they host performers and you can have a coffee while spending time on the computer.

Another great Portland happy hour to check out! This place is right at a MAX stop for the green and yellow lines in the Chinatown area. They had a rather unique happy hour menu with options like duck wings and cauliflower tempura both of which I would recommend!

    Miss Delta

1.63 mi from Lion and the Rose Victorian B&B Inn

I was really in the mood for some southern home cooking done Portland style when I happened across Miss Delta. I ended up getting a sampling of southern favorites done completely vegetarian style. It was so good that through out the meal I kept muttering out loud about how good it was. The sampler I tried was a selection of ...

    Ya Hala

3.56 mi from Lion and the Rose Victorian B&B Inn
    4 reviews

Traditional and authentic Ya Hala is on point with flavor and quality. I ordered a veggie sampler with hummus, baba ganoush, tahini, falafel, stuffed grape leaves, diced veggies and all the pita bread you want for less than $11. There was more than enough to share. Everything was delicious and the service, lovely.

Great atmosphere and one of the best happy hours in town! Everything I tried at happy hour was delicious! I especially recommend the the pork tenderloin! Super tender and the sauce was very flavorful. They also do $2 off glasses of wine and they have house wines for $6 a glass, that's only $4 for happy hour. They even do ...

Just stopped in for a coffee. They are located across from the International Youth Hostel and said they tend to have people visiting from all over the world. When I was in there people's attention was focused on the Wimbledon finals on the big TV screen.

Very unique and healthy menu! I tried the BBQ tempe burger (vegan and delicious) with the sweet potato not-fries (not-fries because they are baked, not fried and not covered in all that batter so they taste more like real potatoes).

Great atmosphere. Great Vietnamese food. Great prices. But there is a "but". They have adopted the terrible Portland trend of ordering at the counter and then wait for a seat to open. OK, so you have to be prepared for the hipster element - this restaurant is inside the Ace Hotel, right next to a branch of Portland's own Stumptown Coffee Roasters. But as long as you don't mind the too-cool-for-school crowd of digerati nomads, then swinging into a seat at a communal table (no reservations accepted except for groups of more ...

The wait on a Sunday morning was nearly an hour and a half.
