yayyyy I finally checked out Far Bar!!! Hidden bar/restaurant with mouthwatering stuff on the menu. Located between two buildings in little tokyo. You gotta walk through the narrow alley that leads you to a small cozy restaurant that's connected to the bar next door. Night time is the best time to come and enjoy the pretty christmas lights dangling above. ...

Fogetsu-Do is an ancient mochi bakery that is probably older than your grandparents are. The business is family-run by down-to-earth people. They make the mochi in-house so it is as fresh as can be. You can taste the quality in the first bite, especially with the red bean filling. Their method of making mochi is traditional, so you know what ...

How do you explain a store like Popkiller? Kitschy? Random? Off-the-wall? Very LA? Hipster? It's all of those rolled into one with some vintage pieces, things you can find at your nearest Urban Outfitters and some unique items from Japan. I've spent way too much money here than I'd like to admit! It's a strange place, this one, but I ...

Small adorable gallery in little Tokyo. Look for the red building with the awesome black and white monster line illustration on one wall. Q pop is a mini art gallery that sells cutsie things. The ambience reminds me of giant robot. Checked out the konatsu Kaiju figurine exhibit that ends today. The dolls were adorable and artsy.

A great little theater to catch a local screening of your local film. Located adjacent to the Japanese American national museum. Has Stadium seating but stairs are quite high and angles like a 45 degree angle. They also changed the name of this theater.
