What a cool concept! As the name suggests this place is a theater but with the comforts of home plus more! I stopped in to try some food in their absolutely lovely restaurant attached to the theater. I ask the extremely nice and helpful wait staff about the theaters. They explained that in the theater they have tables and comfortable seating where you can enjoy your meal or drink while you watch your film. And they had a quickly, off-beat selection of films from around the world. Plus, thy have great food at great prices (everything on the menu was $10 or less). Just had the food this time but I'll definitely be coming back to see a movie next time.Recommended for:

After Dinner at Little Bird, I headed over to the Living Room for a movie. During my previous visits to Portland, I had frequently walked past this place and wanted to try it out. So tonight, I settled into a comfy chair in Theater #1 and very much enjoyed a showing of the movie "Cedar Rapids". The "fish out of water" Iowa humour was a bit over the top, but at the same time this home state Hawkeye thought that the cultural portrayal was fairly spot on.
I thought the admission price was a bit dear, but that the atmosphere, projection, and sound were all very good. The attached bar and restaurant is a nice touch and I really appreciated the seat-side waiter service. This would have been a perfect date night with Gayle, as opposed to solo business traveler activity. But for me, tonight's show was a welcome change of pace and relaxing night out.
