Very friendly service at the bar. Had the lamb shawarma, grilled squid, and a nice local summer ale for breakfast (east coast arrival) all recommended by the attentive bar keep and delicious. Came back later for a night cap. This place is not a typical hotel restaurant.

Thanks Nordstrom flagship store. You carry almost everything in the store that you have online that I can't find anywhere in California. I've recently become attached to Nordstroms due to the awesome quality of their products and brands, and their always spectacular customer service, so of course I had to pay homage to this location and see all the wonderful ...Popular withLocalWellnessTrendsters

Belltown is having a renaissance in Seattle - it has become a major food/restaurant area, with some awesome new restaurants of note.

Maybe my 5-star experience stems from having made friends with the bartender the first time around but every time I've been to Bathtub Gin & Co it's always been a fantastic time with no wait at the door. This place is, like many said, in an alley next to a parking lot and completely unsuspecting, like speakeasys tend to be. ...Popular withLocalTrendstersNightlife

Westlake center is an interesting little shopping center that serves an equally interesting crowd. Not too many stores that would interest me but I guess it is connected to the monorail. They have a nice crepe/dessert place that makes some decent food, but other than that it doesn't interest me too much. Kind of reminds me of this shabby little ...Popular withFamiliesLocalDesign

I saw Juan de Marcos and the Afro-Cuban All Stars here. It's a great venue. I'm not sure there's a bad seat in the house, and the acts that come through are top-notch. I will definitely return.Popular withAdventure

The best time to get great deals at Nordstrom during this time! They have awesome deals during their anniversary sale like I bought a Nordstrom exclusive Tory Burch flats for $165 as oppose to $195. If there isn't a Nordstrom in your town, than you can still shop online at midnight when the sale starts. I normally shop online even ...

A lot of Seattleites like to see the year's big “event” movies at one of the chain multiplexes, but the Cinerama in Belltown has those places beat, hands down. The screen there is gigantic and the sound system is a beast. The concession stand is also a cut above the boring candy of the mall theaters. They stock locally produced ...Popular withLocalDesignFamilies

Just uphill from the Pike Place Market, climb on up to Macy's! It's just a few blocks away! Pick up some wonderful dresses. Walk up just about two blocks on Pine Street through Westlake Center to Nordstroms and hop on the Monorail to Seattle Center! Such fun! Make a day of it! http://www.seattlemonorail.com/about/#route

Biggest and best Nordstrom Rack I've ever seen. I could spend the whole day there! What a dream... I'm thinking about moving to Seattle just because of this store hahaha.. It was two stories tall, huuuge. A lot of selection that you don't find at other Nordstrom Racks. They also had high luxury brands and I heard this is the ...Popular withTrendstersDesignBudget

This is the coolest little shop, ever. I heard about it while searching furiously for a g shock watch for the bf during my Christmas visit here, but never went in. I passed it a few times in taxi's and shuttles so when I came back for Valentine's day I really wanted to visit. I only really wanted to take ...

The Seafair Festival is a series of events that kick off the last week of June and carry on throughout August. Among the signature events are concerts, a food festival, a marathon road race, torchlight parade, airshow and maritime celebration. It creates a consistent buzz of activity throughout the city during the summer and is definitely something to put on ...

This lovely little bar/lounge was a perfect stop on my Seattle tour. We were lucky enough to find plenty of seating -- even on a Saturday night. The drinks are fun and creative and the decoration is warm and cosy (big, comfy couches and elaborate art and mirrors). Definitely worth a visit!Popular withNightlife

This is a newer store in Downtown Seattle. It is the old Old Navy building across from Pacific Place. It has three levels and is huge! Great place to shop at if you are on a budget cause their prices are affordable. It is more on the younger generation however older people can shop their too. I love their accessories!

I know, random review, right? I stumbled upon this place while aimlessly walking around during my trip to Seattle. What made me walk inside was a display of aviator caps! I immediately walked in and was amazed of how freakin' awesome this place was. They have vintage caps as well as messenger bags. They also have a whole bunch of ...

You know, it's interesting how most reviews are single-serve experiences where people make snap judgements about the place based on what happened to them that day and they never step into the location again. There's no sense of history or research or loyalty or even interaction which is theoretically balanced out by all the other reviews, but typically those come ...Popular withAdventure
