    Palmers Lodge

    Palmers Lodge

    Class:
    7 reviews

Recently rebranded and restored, the Palmers Lodge is one of three so-called budget boutique accommodations in London that is incredibly well-appointed. Placed on a stunning Victorian mansion, is the beautiful lodge with a tranquil vibe on the residential Swiss-Cottage district three (3) miles from Central London. The lodging features en-suite twin and dormitory style rooms that are generally equipped with ...

    Generator Hostel London

    Generator Hostel London

    Class:
    4 reviews
Good! - 77% of guests recommend

The Generator Hostel is situated in a quiet street brimming with culture, nightlife and just that little taste of residential London life. The hostel itself is an old police station with comfortable rooms - if not a little small - a pumping bar and good lounge and common rooms. At the time of writing they had just completed a major ...

    Hillspring Lodge

    Hillspring Lodge

    Class:
    2 reviews
Good! - 79% of guests recommend

Another in the Palmer's Lodge line of London hostels, you can't really go wrong if what you're looking for is cheap (in an incredibly expensive city), safe, and clean. This location is a little bit out of the way of your typical tourist, but not too inconvenient (just a few long blocks from the nearest tube). The staff was friendly, ...

Very Good! - 84% of guests recommend

this a a cheaper alternative if you are low budget and need a place to stay. Unfortunately you have to share a bathroom. The noise level is ok. It is a basic twin bed and a desk. It is best for short term stay.

    Hotel Ibis London Docklands

    Hotel Ibis London Docklands

    Class:
    2 reviews
Good! - 77% of guests recommend

When visiting the Ibis Hotel in the Docklands I had no idea what to expect, never having stayed at one myself in the past. Upon walking in I was quick to notice the pleasant decor and the open and clean looking concept of the Lobby/Restaurant/Bar. Distinctly non-european in style the Ibis offers clean and tidy cookie cutter rooms that are ...

    Kensington Court Hotel Bayswater

    Kensington Court Hotel Bayswater

    Class:
    2 reviews
Mediocre - 51% of guests recommend

What a lovely manager! Her and her staff are really welcoming. They are quite new, so the hotel will be improved and a new spangly sign put up. Rooms are clean and bright and tastefully decorated. There isn't much difference in price between a double with an en suite and a tripple where you have to go upstairs to the ...

    Royal Bayswater Hostel

    Royal Bayswater Hostel

    Class:
    2 reviews
Mediocre - 59% of guests recommend

I would recommend the Royal Bayswater ONLY if you're on a tight budget or looking to save some money to spend on other things in this very expensive city. They cram too many beds in each room, the rooms though not really dirty are below standard, the staff (mostly Eastern European kids my time there) is somewhat rude. This hostel ...

    Stanley House

    Class:

Upon entering The Stanley I was welcomed by the reception staff. When viewing the rooms it became apparent how cozy and tidy this property really is. All of the rooms come equipped with the standard desk, TV and en-suite. The fresh smelling and squeaky clean rooms really made this property standout to me as I find nothing more disappointing than ...

    Tavistock Hotel

    Tavistock Hotel

    Class:
    2 reviews

I stayed here overnight for a conference back in 2010 and was not impressed. Despite the fact the windows would not open in my room, there was a lot of road noise, the 'renovations' were inconsequential, and the whole thing had a 'just good enough' feel to it. Expect less, I guess.

    Kensington West Hotel

    Class:

Really good hotel in London, just 5 minutes walk from the Underground station (Kensington West, on the District line). Rooms are quite small, but if you are a tourist this is absolutely not a problem. We were there just to sleep or to relax, and beds were comfortable. The owners are nice and friendly, there's always someone ready to help ...

Very GREAT LOCATION! It's not in the center of center London, but it's still in zone 1. Also, this hotel is literally 3 minutes away from Earl's Court Underground metro, which is extremely convenient! The hotel room was VERY CHEAP, but the room was also small. Well, you pay for what you get! Despite of the small room, the staff ...

    Carlton Hotel London

    Class:

Excellent! - 88% of guests recommend

The area surrounding Carlton Hotel seems dangerous, with a local betting shop just underneath the hotel. The area has many restaurants nearby, famous clubs like the big chill nearby and a vibrant student feel. I would recommend this hotel to those that want to be at the heart of some of the entertainment in London. The staffs were helpful and ...

Basic is as basic does, or something. You sort of know what you're gonna get when you walk into a place like this - but it's clean and, um... clean. If you're looking for budget here it is. As with many of these budget hotels, it's often all about location. Sure, you aren't staying in luxury, but it's way less ...

Well, it's basic. It's possible to find a saving grace for every place - and here the quirk is the retro breakfast dispensing machine in the breakfast room. Hostel standard really but well located and cheap-ish. It's close to Pimlico underground station as well as Victoria coach, train and underground stations. This means you're close to the upmarket bars and ...
