    The Soho Hotel

    The Soho Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    29 reviews

I love the decor at this hotel! It definitely feels like "home away from home". It is located in the heart of SoHo and is close to the best shopping and restaurants. The concierges are really knowledgeable and had great recommendations for "hip hop dancing" (if that's your thing ;) ).

No way can we afford to stay here. But it's worth a moment just to step into the lobby and see how the other half lives. Truly luxurious!

A friend of mine was put up here by her work and I got to tag along for an evening. The bar is FABULOUS and anyone can sip a cocktail in a very modern and posh environment. The rooms are roomy by Euro standards. Very nice!

I am sucker for the bar here. No one makes a better Gn & Tonic in the city and the population it attracts are colourful. The hotel itself is quite old school but I still reccommend it. It's not an "hip hotel" but an elegant design in a most conveniet setting right on Hyde Park with really fantastic service. The ...

    The Langham, London

    The Langham, London

    Hotel Class:
    4
    13 reviews

The Langham does luxury extremely well with professional, personable service and elegant, sumptuous interiors. The standard double rooms aren't large, but any extra space you may need can be found in the spa, which is Asian themed and lavender scented. The executive suites come with access to a private lounge with very English tea sandwiches available for refreshment.

Have only visited here for dinner. Find it to be a supremely odd choice of location for this calibre of hotel and the entrance and common area decor to be entirely unwelcoming.

    The Lanesborough Hotel

    The Lanesborough Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    8 reviews

Literally, a lodging treasure offering luxurious accommodations and outstanding service across from the Wellington Arch, Hyde and Green Parks in the prominent Knightsbridge district in Central London. All of its 93 rooms feature a rich traditional English décor with deep pile carpets and gleaming mahogany, and modern entertainment apparatus; though many of the rooms are slightly outdated. Sony VAIO laptops, ...

    Mandeville Hotel

    Mandeville Hotel

    Hotel Class:

    7 reviews

Super-soft cotton sheets, a half bottle of wine to welcome you to your room, and decently sized rooms all win the Mandeville bonus points in my book. The lobby is funky and playful yet elegant, and their afternoon tea comes with champagne for the ladies, or whisky for the menfolk. When you throw in its great location behind Oxford Street ...

    The Dorchester

    Hotel Class:

Where the Fake Sheikh, an investigative reporter of the now defunct News of the World tabloid who used to pose as Arab royalty, conducted his sting operations against various celebrities and minor royals resulting in some pretty salacious front page splashes. The Dorchester has recently re-established its leadership at the very top end of the market, following extensive refurbishment of ...

    The Landmark Hotel

    The Landmark Hotel

    Hotel Class:

    7 reviews

The Landmark is a favorite luxury hotel with a memorable traditional British sophistication in the heart of the fashionable Marylebone district, slightly remote from most popular sites in Central London. Set on a stunning classic Victorian building, it features marble lobby/halls and the most beautiful winter garden serving Afternoon Tea in town — that is also the perfect space for ...

    Dukes Hotel

    Dukes Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    7 reviews

The site of Dukes' Bar, where the martinis are some of the best in the world. It was here that inspired Ian Fleming, after a couple of the stiff drinks, to pen the line "shaken, not stirred." The hotel itself is a luxury boutique hotel tucked into a Mayfair side street, central but not noisy, a great little hidey hole.

    The Academy Hotel

    Hotel Class:

A superb retreat set on a beautiful collection of five Georgian townhouses in the heart of Bloomsbury district in Central London. Its extremely elegant 49 rooms are all spacious, individually decorated in a stunning traditional English style and feature modern communication apparatus. The lower-ground rooms are not as airy. A delicious, though slightly overpriced, breakfast buffet is served at the ...

    The Stafford Hotel

    The Stafford Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    6 reviews

Great service and classic elegance never go out of style and the Stafford has both in spades. When I was at the Stafford in September, I was struck by the subtle yet powerful improvements the hotel has made to itself in recent years. I was expecting the hotel to feel and look more modern, but it looked like the Stafford ...
