    The Ritz London

    The Ritz London

    Class:
    26 reviews
Excellent! - 92% of guests recommend

the original English Afternoon tea. If you have heard of the saying "putting on the Ritz" this is the place they refer to. London's original high tea. Theres a 1920s feel to this hotel, located right on Piccadilly. If you stay at this hotel, sneak out for a meal at the Wolesely - close by, its a wonderful restaurant nearby.

    Grosvenor House Hotel

    Grosvenor House Hotel

    Class:
    15 reviews

A fairly high end property on Park Lane - more for the older crowd than a hotel for the younger clientele. I used to go here every Sunday afternoon for High Tea with my great grandmother - its a bit of an institution. The place to go for English traditional tea.

    W London Leicester Square

    W London Leicester Square

    Class:
    10 reviews
Very Good! - 81% of guests recommend

Leicester (pronounced Lester) Square is in the middle of Soho, buzzing with all sorts of cafes and the Odeon Theatre where many London premieres are held. It's largely a tourist area, but that's okay. It's still pretty fun to explore.

    Hilton London Heathrow Airport

    Hilton London Heathrow Airport

    Class:
    12 reviews
Very Good! - 82% of guests recommend

Very modern and conveniently located next to T4 (connected by a walkway). Rooms are small and the service is a bit disorganized (good luck getting a refill on your coffee at breakfast); however, the pricing isn't too egregious by London standards and this is a good option if you have an early flight or need a location for a fly ...

    Mandeville Hotel

    Mandeville Hotel

    Class:
    7 reviews
Very Good! - 82% of guests recommend

Super-soft cotton sheets, a half bottle of wine to welcome you to your room, and decently sized rooms all win the Mandeville bonus points in my book. The lobby is funky and playful yet elegant, and their afternoon tea comes with champagne for the ladies, or whisky for the menfolk. When you throw in its great location behind Oxford Street ...

Excellent! - 88% of guests recommend

Think of the most elegant older lady with a bit of hidden sass that you know, imagine her as a hotel and you will have the Landmark. Cordial, classy service and a fancy afternoon tea in the atrium restaurant spoke to my grown-up side (the glass ceiling is so tall you could practically fly a helicopter inside), while the downstairs ...
