Well we all have highly different ideas for what is special in life. Something that has been suggested to me multiple times, is to have High Tea at the Savoy. This is a truly unique experience. It is simply one thing to have High Tea. The scones, finger sandwiches, pastries, and the tea. It is altogether an entirely different thing ...

    Grosvenor House Hotel

    Grosvenor House Hotel

    Class:
    4.5
    14 reviews

It's not the best five star hotel in London, but I have fond memories of the Grosvenor. It is a great historic hotel and deserves consideration on that basis alone. Sensitively restored. But you'd be better off spending this kind of cash elsewhere.

Stunning budget conscious hotel a 5 minute walk from Old Street Station. Upon walking in the first thing that dawned on me, is that this is not your average hotel. The café and restaurant was packed with midday patrons having meetings and socialising. While waiting to be shown around the property I took the opportunity to check out some of ...

The Langham does luxury extremely well with professional, personable service and elegant, sumptuous interiors. The standard double rooms aren't large, but any extra space you may need can be found in the spa, which is Asian themed and lavender scented. The executive suites come with access to a private lounge with very English tea sandwiches available for refreshment.

Flew out of Heathrow when I emigrated to Canada! Didn't see too much of the Airport itself and it was the only way to emigrate in those days as there were no direct flights from Manchester so I had to go down to London otherwise I would have been stranded in this country and, considering that I was expected in ...

Wow, Wow, Wow, beautiful hotel. Amazing! I love it. If only I could travel Rocco Forte more regularly. The brand also really caters well to gay travelers which I love and works with a lot of other gay travel brands, so this incredibly stylish, well-serviced hotel is the place to go if you want to Splurge in London.
