Pretty bloody cool hotel. Hip and trendy (i say that at the risk of sounding neither). A few years ago no one would venture in to Hoxton but it is now quite the place to be' The area is filled with bars and pubs that this hotel fits right in with its modern look and feel. Perfect for the younger ...

This hotel has an extremely convenient location - it's attached to the airport. A quick walk and you're there. Every time I stayed here it was because something went wrong with my flight and BA ended up putting us up. Great hotel - especially loved the breakfast.

While I've not had the pleasure of staying at Palmers Lodge; I have had the opportunity to see the facilities and experience the lovely welcoming staff. The hostel is located in a historical building near two tube stations (Finchley Road and Swiss Cottage). Near the turn of the 20th century it was used as both a home for incurable children/ ...

I always find that, no matter where you go that there is no excuse for not being pleasant. This is only more important at less than appealing places. And inversely so some may think that the better the location and decor the less polite one should be. Here they are great all the way around. Though it is a touch ...

    Astor's Hyde Park Hostel

Fair - 73% of guests recommend

Truthfully, I think this place is 3.5 stars, but I am willing to round up. It is well located near sights and public transportation. The rooms were clean and the atmosphere was friendly. The woman at reception was happy to answer our questions. There is no elevator, but plenty of stairs. This hostel is ages 18-35 only, so keep that ...

Think of the most elegant older lady with a bit of hidden sass that you know, imagine her as a hotel and you will have the Landmark. Cordial, classy service and a fancy afternoon tea in the atrium restaurant spoke to my grown-up side (the glass ceiling is so tall you could practically fly a helicopter inside), while the downstairs ...

    Clink78 Hostel

    7 reviews
Fair - 74% of guests recommend

Of all the hostels I've recommended to friends in London, this one has caused the most problems. Smelly, noisy with a rather dodgy crowd. They do have free wifi and it is safe and the linen is clean, but not recommended. And if you must stay there, book on laterooms.com for a discount.

Good! - 76% of guests recommend

Tucked into a Bloomsbury townhouse, the Academy Hotel does the British literary vibe to a tee. Fireplaces and striped wallpaper distinguish the 49 rooms, while the small size means personalized service. This is also a great location for exploring Soho and Bloomsbury.

    The Stafford Hotel

    The Stafford Hotel

    Class:

Great service and classic elegance never go out of style and the Stafford has both in spades. When I was at the Stafford in September, I was struck by the subtle yet powerful improvements the hotel has made to itself in recent years. I was expecting the hotel to feel and look more modern, but it looked like the Stafford ...
