Tapas bar in the heart of Soho, not far from Oxford Circus. Not a vast menu, but what there is, is good quality and reasonable value for central London.

The tasting menu with matching wines is a fantastic experience. The sommelier was superb and made the 7 course meal feel like a wonderful culinary journey. It doesn't come cheap but is comparable for restaurants with the same stars

    Tierra Brindisa

One of my favourites for central London lunch meetings or just hanging out. This smart tapas bar in the heart of Soho is run by the delicatessen wholesaler Brindisa, which also has a retail unit in Borough market. The food is fresh and fabulous.

Spanish tapas in a cute, neighbourhood restaurant setting. Recommend the tomato bread with Iberian ham, the chicken and bechamel croquettes, and the paprika chicken.

    Bocca Di Lupo

For all that tonight was a cracking experience, god it was intense. To sit at Bocca Di Lupo's Chef's Counter is to sit so close to the trattoria's beating heart that it possesses you of a real instinct to snap to it every time a new order comes on. Which isn't to say you shouldn't make a deliberate point of ...

    Salt Yard

Might be the place that turned me onto tapas. The space is nice - try to sit on the main floor, not downstairs - and the food is simple, straight forward with good variety. It's close to the office and is also a great place for a glass of wine and a bite before a full dinner.

    Morito

I'm a massive fan of this tapas place, in Exmouth market. It's not too expensive, and the food is really amazing. The owners have published several books, and are constantly researching new flavours.

I love Tapas and was really excited to find one in my neighborhood. However, I wasn't too impressed. I actually quite like the ambience: kind of deliberately hole-in-the-wall place with recycled furniture and photos of street scenes of Barcelona. They serve quite traditional tapas and also offer daily specials that are written up on the wall. My friend and I ...

    Fino

A sister restaurant of Barafina and serves great tapas as well. I went there a couple of time and every single time I was filled up with very delicious food. Pimientos de padrón is usually a good tester dish for a tapas restaurant, and Fino does it really well. Another dish that you see in almost all tapas restaurants is ...

Lola Rojo - Wandsworth Bridge Road

    5
    1 review

The newer, better and more spacious sister branch of Battersea's Lola Rojo - a perennial neighbourhood favourite - serving cocina nueva, the northern Spanish reinvention of tapas. I've never really warmed to this stretch of restaurants on Wandsworth Bridge Road, but as going south of the river guarantees a long wait for a cab back to the other side, it's ...

    Laxeiro Tapas Bar

My good friend Google sent me to this tapas bar last night. You can spend a little and stuff yourself a lot on a selection of abundant plates including a vegetable pisto (mixed veg with spices and a fried egg on top), romanesco cauliflower with manchego cheese, fresh grilled sardines, just about any naughty treat your little heart desires in ...

    Casa Brindisa

The latest opening from the Brindisa chain, serving up terrific tapas at this South Kensington outpost, handy for combining with a visit to the Victoria & Albert Museum. There's a deli section in the basement, if you need to stock up on some quality ingredients.

    Barrica Tapas Bar

Excellent food and wine list, but while suitable enough for a central business lunch, I wouldn't want to linger here in the evening - it just feels like you're sitting in a corridor. I've also eaten better tapas, more inexpensively in London.
