    Cafe Laville

    1 review

Cafe Laville sits right over Regent's Canal and is a popular spot on Little Venice to Camden walks. Though they serve meals, it's more of a place to sit down for a spot of tea and enjoy great views of the canal.

    Vanilla Black

Top of the tree vegetarian restaurant in London. I eat meat (a lot) and even I liked it. Probably not good for vegans though.

    Café at Foyles

This cafe is tucked away on the first floor of Foyle's Bookstore on Charing Cross Road, behind the recipe books (side note, English first floor = American second floor). It's Monmouth Coffee and they have a tasty and fresh menu of salads, sandwiches, and pastries, so all in all, it's a definite step above your standard Pret or Eat. There's ...

Liked the older location better, but this is a fab night club. Not Mayfair posh, but loads of fun.

    The Bricklayer's Arms

    1 review

This compact Victorian gem—with wooden floors, old photos on the walls, and a central bar—lies hidden away down a small cul-de-sac not far from the Thames. Run by former actress Becky Newman, it is a showcase for Timothy Taylor’s range of pristine Yorkshire ales. There are also guest ales, occasional beer festivals, and delicious food in the evenings.

    The Battersea Pie Shop

Great traditional Pies. I got the Butternut squash and brie one which was fantastic. Plenty of other great options on the menu. I would have like to see more than one option of beer however to accompany the meal but other than that a nice experience.

    44 Barnsbury St

    1 review

The Draper's Arms in Islington ceased trading in 2008 after an outwardly healthy administration was required to call in the receivers. At least that's the story Hard Ons, I mean Harden's, reported at the time. Two years on and the stately neighbourhood boozer's back in established business with a roll-call of pub-restaurant royalty at the bridge. Driving force Nick Gibson's ...

    Royal Thai Restaurant

    1 review

King's Cross is a busy area filled with tourists, students, and cheap kebab shops. Nonetheless, the area is sprinkled with a few exciting places to eat, and Royal Thai is one. With about 10 tables and no liquor license, it's intimate, the food is fresh (I had a delicious spicy beef salad) and, amazingly, they let you bring your own ...

Good fresh fish. Not much on atmosphere and originality but a good high street option.

Awesome place to grab cheap, delicious Falafel and fries. Everything is fresh, there are tons of cool toppings (chilis, etc) you can add on your wrap. Great for a quick bite (especially later night).
