Great handcrafted beers and a typical London Fields crowd are an everyday occurrence at the Brewery. Whether you're a hipster or no, you'll probably appreciate the delicious brews, and sometimes, to be honest, I like getting out of the classic pub atmosphere.

Small craft/micro brewery located under a railway arch in East London. They run tours which are good for the sampling.

London Fields Brewery has all the bases covered. They make everything from IPAs to Porters. At the weekend their tap room let's you work your way through them all on site. They run tours of the brewery. But they also go one step further, with their Brew school offering course in beer and food matching, and a craft brewing experience day. if you've ever fancied turning your spare room over the beer production, this might be the place to pick up a few tricks to get you going.

This is one of my fail-safe place to go in London. All through summer 2012 the brewery held massive parties in its adjoining venue, The Brewhouse - there was bands, DJs, BBQ, loads of beer, and Pimms for the ladies - literally a piss up in a brewery.

The Tap Bar opened in time for winter, in the same space as the actual brewery, the heat of the brewing keeps the place nice and toasty, and there's windows so drinkers can watch the process while they sup.

It's a proper all-in-one-venue. I've been for five-star banquets, massive NYE parties, and Sunday sessions.. and it's cheaper than drinking in nearby pubs!

I'm not much of a beer drinker but the venue is top class and I am partial to a pint of the stout.
