49 Dean Street, London W1D 5, United Kingdom
Perfect for a late afternoon drink. The French House is an extraordinarily-famous Vaudevillian theatrical masterpiece of a place to drink – mind, they only serve halves as don’t want people getting leery. It’s very small and has hardly changed since the 1920’s. The walnut-panelled and mirrored establishment is the last catchment of genuine super-eccentric London warriors - the real spirits of the place.
