Somewhere I read this is one of the most photographed trees in the world. As a matter of fact this tree is in a very interesting position and when I was there a very angry ocean was waving with strength: really impressive!

The view here is great, but now that they have built a wall around the tree and have a cable holding it up, somehow it felt a bit less magical.

Beautiful stretch of natural coastline. Pebble Beech is more known for golf courses than nature, but it's hard to not feel the call of the wild at this spectacular vantage point. The tree itself is not extraordinary - particularly as Monterey cypress abound in this area - but the view certainly is.
