    Vons

We were headed to a BBQ in the valley and had to bring over some supplies - beer, chips, etc so this was on the way. Woohoo. This is a gorgeous and spacious Vons even though it looks kinda ghetto from the outside. Avocados were marked up for the holiday - 4 for $5 but we needed them for the ...

green tamales were indeed good and green. nachos were too sweet. was surprised it tasted more like bbq sauce than salsa and not much cheese. cool beans on the bottom but def needs more cheese and less sweetness. GOOD VEGAN menu.

    Hamburger Haven

This is a throw back to the small places of my childhood. Kind of a greasy spoon burger joint, not in a bad way. They serve up a decent burger but there are so many amazing options in WeHo. I can say that this is the place to go if you have a hangover. Nuff said.

This review is for their Wednesday happy hour. Pro tip: Don't park on La Brea during their anti grid times. The street is littered with parking enforcement, police officers, and tow cars. Yes, they ticket and tow. Came to check out a happy hour place close by. We parked in the residential area. But pay attention to the street signs. ...

    Hana Ichimonme Restaurant

SIs and I come here once in a while for their ramen. It's not the best ramen and I wouldn't recommend it to ramen snobs. We go here for the nostalgic taste. My parents have been taking me here since I was in kindergarten, maybe younger. It was my favorite place to be because they use to have a japanese ...

Blueberry tart was decent. Pastries are super cheap for what you get. Too much whipped cream for my taste and the crust is too crumbly.

I was hoping that this place serves real japanese food but unfortunately, the food wasn't good as I expected. Pork cutlet was too tough, beef teriyaki was tasteless, teriyaki sauce was too Americanized to me. A bit slow service too.

This is a great place to grab a muffin or a quick coffee on your way to Grauman's. In the heart of Hollywood, a good alternative to the local Starbucks.

    Big Mama's & Papa's Pizzeria

This chain's claim to fame is their 36" pizza that requires a box so big it has to fit on the roof of their delivery car. I'd be impressed, except the quality of the pizza isn't that great - whether you get a small or a large or a 36". Pizza is pizza and it satisfies any kind of cheesy-marinara ...

The atmosphere is lacking but the burgers are good! This is a long time favorite that has been around for 75 years. If you want to experience a little bit of Old Hollywood, swing by.

Just a sandwich place but it's cheap and the food is delicious! If you are down on Melrose shopping this is a perfect place to grab a quick bite. The smoothies are good and it's also really inexpensive.

Health Concious Chinese Food? YUP! It tastes lighter but still has tons of flavor. I like this moderately priced restaurant. Similar to Panda Express except this is much better.

So there was a line of people waiting that almost wrapped around the building. I figured it could not too be bad, right? It was just OK. It's cheap and I'm sure that's what the line was about. Not my favorite when there are so many other options in Chinatown. I can't even remember what I had.Literally forgot as soon ...

    True Burger

Here is my review of True Burger: They have two ares of seating. One inside near the parking lot. One outside patio area in the back. Downside: they are not connected. You need to walk around to get to the front. The patio area is nice for enjoying the great weather while having a decent burger. This used to be ...

Best place to eat in American Airlines/Terminal 4. They have homemade sandwiches, paninis, croissants, salads, wraps, pastries, and cookies, plus coffee, juice and water for to-go. A great place to patronize because of the background story to its organization. Check it out: http://www.homeboyindustries.org/ Show support and stop by here for a bite to eat.

    Cha Cha Chili

I was in the neighborhood and wanted to bring my boyfriend something to eat for lunch. I turned to Yelp and found that Cha Cha Chili was nearby. I have heard of this place before and the reviews seemed solid, it wasn't too far, the price seemed fair - so off I went! You can definitely miss this small little ...
